Welcoming to people, families and dogs. The staff are warm, friendly and experienced. The beer is superb and there is always something for different tastes. They also do a bunch of live events with the community.

i went for a beer to stray dog with a girlfriend yesterday after coming to the east end from downtown for a workout class. upon entering, there was a big beautiful xl bully dog lying calmly on the floor. i was very excited to see this dog, i also have an xl bully at home and they are typically quite rare to see out and about. anyways, i went to take a pic of this dog to show my sister and was yelled at by the dogs owner - who told me i “better not be posting his dog on social media etc etc” to which i replied oh no problem, i wasn’t planning to, just wanted to show my sister - this extremely rude and hostile man who was decked out head to toe in stray dog merch continued to speak extremely rude to me/ about me while my friend and i ordered a beer from the bar tender. he made me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable - i later found out from the bar tender that this man is an employee of stray dog. safe to say i will not be returning, and not to mention it is this type of owner that gives these gorgeous dogs a bad reputation. as a fellow business owner i would be appalled to know an employee of mine was speaking to paying patrons this way. other than that - the bartender was lovely and the beer was good.

Nice dog-friendly craft brewery. It was quiet when we were there on a weekday but it seems to have a good crowd. The staff were friendly and helpful. We tried the ESB and oatmeal stout and both were great. There is no fod since dogs are allowed. It's a stupid government rule in my opinion, but I would have have more dog friendly places like this anyway. It's a great spot - we'll be back.

Decided to stop on while visiting family in Orléans. Highly recommend! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a good beer list. We also loved the art selections available on the walls.

I need to start by saying how great the staff are at Stray Dog. They're friendly and love craft beer. We talked about breweries in the Ottawa area worth visiting, even ones in the GTA where I'm originally from. So they know their stuff.

Which shows in the beer. I got a flight with some different options but the Shaggin Wagon was by far by favourite of the bunch. You get a good sized pour also for your flights which is great, and can get up to 6. Serving them in a muffin baking dish is genius.

They don't serve food, just snacks but on the website it says you could bring in outside food, which is nice because inside and outside are both nice. The patio isn't large but it makes the most of the space and inside certainly is nice and feels nice and open.

The location is in a commercial area so there is parking, but they don't seem to be open super late. Which is fine, this is a brewery to enjoy in the sunshine.
