I ordered the lemongrass beef on vermicelli through Uber eats. It was totally underwhelming. The flavor of the beef was ok but nothing that would make me go “wow” like I do with a great lemongrass beef. It was served with vermicelli, carrots and cucumbers and peanuts. No cilantro, no basil…is it just me or is that super weird? The mix of herbs and fresh veggies is what makes a vermicelli dish so good, and this was totally lacking. Really disappointing. I ate it but did not enjoy it. The portion size was fair.

Ordered from T Basil and was a little disappointed with the food. The Pad Thai and Thai spicy wings were not good. Crispy beef ok. Curry and the Mango salad were good. Gave it a three...would have to think twice before trying again.

The second we stepped in the restaurant we were welcomed by the flagrant smell of lemongrass and shrimp so we had to order the Tom Kha soup with the spicy hot and sour broth. For second I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken with Vermicelli and my son asked for Thai Royal noodle with grilled shrimp skewers. I was pleasantly surprised to get a free spring roll with the soup. The Tom Kha was very nice, just a little spicy but it had a little too much tofu for my like. The Thai Royal noodle came with rice noodles tossed in basil sauce so it was green and a healthy choice for the health conscious mind. We finished our lunch (on Jan 29th. 2025) with a delicious cheese cake. For all of this nice lunch in a quiet and pleasant restaurant we payed $52.40… T-basil in Orleans is an excellent choice for delicious Thai cuisine and there is plenty of free parking spaces. Ordered some takeout from T basil And unfortunately, we thought it was just all right. The ingredients were great. They were fresh. Though I think the food would be better if we ate there since by the time when we got our food, the noodles were a little bit soggy, and they were a little stuck to each other. Flavour wise, we thought it was a little bland. The basil noodle one was interesting because it kind of reminded us of pesto. Overall, It felt like home cooking so it felt cosy. It still hit the spot for some Asian food in the end.

I am vegan and this is my favorite restaurant! They have amazing vegan options! The vegan mock chicken is delicious! I highly recommend you try this place if you are looking for a good vegan experience. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.

The food never fails here. I love the spring rolls with noodles (fried spring rolls), and their fresh spring rolls. My friend got a dish with chicken and the chicken was cooked beautifully with great flavour in the sauce. The broth for their wonton soup is spiced really well, with soothing warm spices.
We ordered dishes to share and Thuy was very helpful in not only serving the dishes but providing us the plates and bowls so we could all have a bit of everything! As always the food was delicious. Cam ơn Thuy!

First time at this restaurant and it won’t be the last. The food and service were excellent. The food was very tasty, fresh and excellent sized portions. It’s a small family run business and they couldn’t do enough for you. The prices are also very reasonable. If you like Thai food it’s definitely worth a visit. They also have Vietnamese food but we didn’t try it.
Parking: Lots of parking in the parking lot. A few spots as well which are designated just for TBasil guests.
