This was my first time ordering from there. Read a lot of reviews saying how good their fish and chips were, even on a gluten free app. People saying the best fish and chips in town. Sadly I would disagree. Ordered the dill gluten free, 2 piece with fries for pick up for lunch today to share. We both found the fish to be lacking in flavour. The fish was cooked nicely, and the batter was really crispy, but it needs more flavour. Also, nothing on the menu says what type of fish it is, or that there is a gluten free option. And the fries, although it says they're handcut, weren't very crispy either. While I was waiting for my food, it was sitting in the box on the counter wide open too, and even though the drive home was only about 5 minutes, the food was barely warm when we went to eat it.

Food was not great and the experience was not pleasant. Service is not professional. The one star is for the good portion. I went on a weekday around 2pm so it wasn’t busy. Only a couple other tables. The server introduced himself to the customers at the next table and mentioned the specials but not to me somehow. I already ordered and then overheard the specials and asked about it. No explanation or apologies about not mentioning the specials when asked. Ordered the curry cauliflower soup and it was bitter. Sent it back with no issue. Fish and chips was ok at first bite as the dill pickle dredge was crispy. However, neither the fish nor the batter was seasoned sufficiently and so it was tasteless and boring after a few bites. Even the tartar sauce was not seasoned. The server’s response was that some people don’t like it “too seasoned”. The coleslaw that came with the dish also barely had any salt in it. Any chef should season the food before serving, not to have customers dip their food in table salt. When I asked for more tartar sauce to eat more of the fish since it wasn’t seasoned, I was told they had to charge me for the sauce. There was no point to season the fish on the surface at that point since the salt won’t be integrated. The fish should have been seasoned before it was fried. The server was defensive and unhelpful. Not sure who likes tasteless food but if you do you should definitely check this place out!

Family of five, we came in at about 1:20 PM, which is shortly after the breakfast period. They sat us right away, but it was about 10 to 15 minutes before they came back to check on us. The kids were getting pretty antsy, and we had long since finished looking at the menu. At that point they decided to tell us that it would be another half an hour before we could order, because of the turnover from breakfast. They could have trained their staff better to handle situations like that.

Bad Alibi has been a staple for my husband and I for the past two years. However, we've recently received deteriorating qualities of service and even worse, when we went to submit a complaint to the restaurant via their website several weeks ago and we received no response! I always try avoiding leaving a bad review, but if management ignores feedback there isn't much else that can be done.
We went a few weeks ago and had very slow service on a Saturday late breakfast, even though the Saturday brunch rush was clearly slowing down. More importantly, my husband had a huge hair on his chicken and waffles, and instead of preparing him a fresh dish, he was sent the waffles to eat on his own and then sent the chicken about 5 minutes later. To make matters worse, the chicken had obviously had the breading where the hair was scrapped off and then refried, so it was rubbery and tough, and without any waffles. The server didn't seem apologetic and we were frustrated with the subsequent delays in getting coffee refills and getting our bill afterwards. This used to be a breakfast staple from us but if management doesn't care enough to respond to feedback, we won't be back.

Went for breakfast we ordered eggs Benedict the eggs were poached hard and we asked for medium our server was outside shoveling instead of waiting on our table so we had to wait for him to come back in to let him know then says ok walks away comes back with 3 bowls of poached eggs drenched in water to put on top of our already cold ham and English muffin and then asks if we need sauce home fries were dry and well done water glasses empty not once asked to fill up until he returned with the bill no discount or anything so it cost us about $90 to never go eat there again 👎👎👎👎

The food and atmosphere never disappoint here. I celebrated Galentine's with a good friend of mine and we couldn't get over the amount of food we had. Everything was on point! Servers are friendly, and the owner is chatty and is just fun to talk to. From the arrival to departure, I was welcomed and felt appreciated. Thanks so much for all that you do!
Ordered Beef Stroganoff. Beef nicely flavored. Pasta cooked soft and not mushy. Gravy had a little pepper and cream in the sauce. I liked the gravy. Would have it again. Waiter very attentive.

We, along we the another couple, went to Bad Ali in Orleans for dinner Friday night. We all ordered the fish and chips special and it was good. For a drink, I asked if they had Guinness. The water who was very good said yes but in a can. So I said I would take the can of Guinness as I had many before and it’s pretty good. Upon pouring it I noticed that the head was not what it normally is and that perhaps it was somewhat flat. But I tried it and after a couple of sips, I told the waiter that the Guinness was not tasting very good, almost like stale beer. He took the can back and returned with the comment “well that is what canned beer tastes like”. I told him not so as I had many canned Guinness before and none tasted like this. All he said well that is what it is. There was no offer to replace it with another Guinness or something else. Also no adjustment to my final bill. Further, I now realize that the can did not have the widget that is normally in these cans to keep them fresh. I believe the beer had probably froze before which would explain the bad taste and no widget. Very disappointed that I was left with no corrective actions when any other restaurants would have replaced it. And needless to say, I did not drink it, nor did I leave my usual tip. Not sure we would return, even though we have been regular customers. My only error was not insisting on a replacement or ask to speak to the manager/owner to push the issue.
We meet friends there every second Friday for a late lunch and we are never disappointed. The beef stroganoff is sooo good and the Bacon-Chicken Carbonara is the best❤️

I dropped by Bad alibi with my sister-in-law. I was told that it had very good food So I had somewhat of a high expectation. Unfortunately, bad alibi did not Live up to the expectation. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. We ordered a few drinks, the Arancini, one burger without buns, and the Nashville chicken dinner. The drinks were great. The New York sour was stiff, but the Moscow Mule wasn't. The arancini was great. It had good flavor. But my main dish, the Nashville chicken dinner, Was a letdown. The chosen cut of the chicken was Chicken breast, and it was very bland. I had to dip my chicken in the table salt. The batter on the chicken was also Soggy and not even crispy. I thought it was supposed to be fried chicken? It was more of a very lightly breaded chicken. Wasn't sure what they were going for. On the other hand, my sister-in-law enjoyed the burger. I think I have to come back to try their other stuff. But skip the fried chicken, folks.

I didn't think it was possible to have the perfect meal.
Until now, for Saturday brunch.
Service from our server Tida was over the top.
Coffee was better than expected.
Potatoes were real.
Steak was the closest to perfect that I've had for breakfast. Local ingredients really make a difference!
Ambiance was a nice combination of modern and cozy.
I've got my eye on the chicken and waffles for our next visit.
