So it was my first time ,and my birthday I must say the dinner was absolutely fantastic.nina came over made us feel like family so welcoming .her staff was professional and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant 101%. If you have not been, please go very clean,food so good and the presentation just I can't say enough about how great this restaurant is.thank you for making my birthday so wonderful.

We have been waiting to try it out at Nina’s for a while. We took 8 of our friends and had an amazing experience. Shannon and Laura were amazing staff and gave fantastic quick and proficient service! The food Nina was making in the open style kitchen was SO great. It’s small, but not too small. Amazing for a special occasion. They even accommodated special requests over email! Will be going back 100% and bringing our family and friends!

I went for the first time tonight and the food was incredible. Everything was so fresh and flavourful. I love pasta so I had high hopes and I can honestly say the food went past my expectations. Plus the service was great, super friendly and on top of everything. If you’re looking for a new place to try, this is the place! I can’t wait to go back :)

We love Nina's Fornetto! Our family enjoyed a wonderful dinner here last evening. We are so grateful to have found this cosy restaurant gem. We traveled quite a distance to eat here and will certainly do so again. Our meals were delicious and of great quality and value. Service was fabulous. Red wine served cold. Ceasars salad had no flavor. The meatballs were chewy very bland. There were 3 of us and served 5 small pieces of bread, not Italian. The shrimp were dry and mussels and calamari tasteless. The atmosphere was very noisy. Prices were high definitely not fine dining quality. Not going back.

Excellent Italian cuisine with very generous servings. Friendly staff and a lovely new inside and atmosphere. I watched as they built the patio and it's gorgeous although I prefer to eat inside. I did not find the pricing overly expensive at all. My seafood dish was loaded and I ended up taking home at least a third of the paste. The spinach salad was quite large with lots of goats cheese. I will for sure being going again. The cost of $100 per person included an acholic drink, appetizer, main meal and dessert.
My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of having dinner on the patio on Saturday night. The staff were welcoming right from our arrival. We have reserved inside but changed our minds and sat outside. The menu and wine list was incredible. We splurged on an expensive bottle of wine and we were pleased we did, it was well worth it. Our appetizer and dinners surpassed our expectations. The portions were very generous and everything was fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. Our sever was sweet and checked on us often to make sure we were happy. We live in the area and will definitely be returning. Fabulous

The restaurant is a nice location but very noisy inside The food was average and I thought overpriced The meatballs were rubbery, the sauce was good. The seafood pasta was average. The ghocci special was tasty but not worth the price. Did not like the fact that the red wine was served cold. All in all I had expected better. Unfortunately I will not be going back

With regards to the chilled wine, I have worked in the wine and beer business for 20 years, supplying the LCBO and many fine dining restaurants in Toronto. I have been to VIN Italy for their wine shows as well as in France. I agree that some wines can been served chilled, but in all my travels not one single establishment has served their wine filled
