My friend and I went for high tea and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The place is beautiful inside( the porch could use some attention, it would make a lovely outdoor setting), Christina is very friendly and accommodating and the tea options are fun and very tasty. I'm giving 5 starts, because for the price I understand the food choices. While generous, none of the sandwiches, scones or treats are anything to write home about. They're adequate, but it would be better with artisan breads, more inspired sandwich toppings and bakery treats. And I would like my own little pot of clotted cream and jam. And I'd happily pay more pretty person. However, as I said the tea is lovely (you each get a pot), Christina is a gem and there are lovely things to look at inside. There's also an artisan market upstairs, but we could not go up as it is not accessible for people with limited mobility. Maybe some things could be kept downstairs?

Yesterday my mom and my sister in law hosted a beautiful bridal shower for me at the Lovely Tea House. We had an excellent time and the space was so cute! They allowed my family to put up decorations to make the room feel even more special. We had afternoon tea-the Vanilla Chai was my favourite but everyone loved trying an array of teas in many different flavours. The food was perfect for the event and way more filling than I even expected. We had originally booked for the weekend of the ice storm but the venue was amazing and accommodated a last minute change of dates since the weather was initially so bad we couldn’t have family travel from out of town. Everything was lovely. My only concern was it was a bit tricky to find the parking lot at first but we all figured it out quickly :)

Absolutely amazing! We came as a party of 8 and there wasn’t a single displeasure!! The tea was amazing, food was delightful and dessert was splendid! My only suggestion would be to offer a to go mug (even for a fee), I feel like we wasted at least a cup of tea per person.

Everything was lovely, the house is adorable, servers are great and the scones and sandwiches were very good but they might want to make their own desserts. Every sweet that was served was from Costco, so that part of the experience was very disappointing.

The Lovely Teahouse is lovely indeed! I celebrated my birthday with their Afternoon High Tea, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. It’s the only teahouse of its kind in the area, offering good experience at reasonable prices

Our server was wonderful ! The decor okay not awsome, it smells moldy and funky. Food was only okay not epic or even fancy. It was only okay wouldn’t go back. Dessert was disappointing cookies pretty but not tasty. Sandwiches were plain not wow to the palate. But we made the best of it! Price is fair for what ya get and scones were not that great either. Again we tried it lady was very pleasant and did her best! They need a better food prep person and need to work on portions and presentation !

Had a high tea service for mothers day and the Afternoon Tea Blend was included. OMG!!! GOAT!!! It was so good I had to share some with my neighbour who loves tea! I'll admit in nit a tea fanatic-but I am one for this tea blend. Sweet, smooth, floral perfection in a bag! ♡♡♡

A quaint older house off Hwy 11 on 5th line. Enjoyed traditional tea with little sandwiches, scone with clotted cream, and jam and a cookie. Many many teas to chose from! It was lovely time spent in honour of a birthday. Highly recommend The Lovely Teahouse.
