I am so jealous!!!
How I would love to have a Food Truck Corral in our area.
We loved this concept, the corral is located just on the outskirt of the city in a large field which offers quite a bit of parking.
The choice of food trucks this past summer had a wide selection of food options.
If the corral is to stay at this location, I sincerely hope the city will see it necessary to put lights at the entrance/exit.
Your full attention is definitely required when coming in or leaving this lot as the traffic on Winchester Rd can be fast and unforgiving.
We went on a Friday night, so traffic was busy to begin with, but we found that most people leaving the corral ended up taking a chance and darted out onto the street whenever they saw a small opening in the traffic. Yikes!

Great food truck place.
Watt a Fry makes great fries but take cash. Tax included with cash but not debit so your paying 15% more.

Being of Ukrainian decent perogies have always been a soul food of mine. Not only did the Pierogie Bros deliver an amazing dish, they are always delivering delicious dishes.
Hands down the best soul food in Oshawa, give them a try and tell them Larry Your Landscaper sent you!

Great variety of food trucks here, something for pretty much everyone. A nice change from the usual places for the summer. Worth the drive up to north Oshawa.

Don't advertise that you are open until 8:00 PM if you are not. Got there at 7:30 and all trucks were closed except the pizza place. Watt a Fry, closed. Pierogies, closed. Went there to get some fries but nope. Very disappointing.
* I was there on Thursday at 7:30. I did not look up each individual food truck because I don't even know all of the food truck vendors that are there except Watt a Fry. When I looked at the hours posted online for the food trucks in Oshawa it just said 8:00 PM so I assumed that the food trucks were all open until that time. If people are just driving by and think it's open until 8:00 and then when you get there a half hour before closing they are closed it's disappointing. Anyways thanks for your response.
Twisted fork- Mac and cheese was 10$, small portion, stone cold, and tasted like no name Kraft dinner
The guy at the window seemed like he had no interest in being there either
Not going back

Ok so it looks like I'm the another person who got ripped by the brisket. (Should have checked the review first) Avoid the Twisted Fork. I grabbed the brisket burger and mac and cheese. Powdered mac and cheese for 10$! In a tiny container. Kraft dinner even tastes better. The brisket was chewy and tasted like mcrowaved dinner no smokey flavor whatsoever. 5 peace of small brisket, I made into combo, which is just adding a can of pop. 25$. Closed to 40$ paid.
My husband got fried chicken burger, for 25$ with 2 times the portion. The Chicken was almost all batter with every bite was bread or skin or oil, but still better than my brisket. What I didn't like most was that all the food truck asking tips of 16 perc and up. Tips are paid to the service you received, not to the service I'm about to receive. How am I supposed to decide on the perc of the tip when I haven't even got the food? 20 perc for just taking my order!? This place has all the fun and good vibe but if practice like this continues I don't think there will be many repeated customers. I'm certainly not going back.

Stopped for lunch on a day that wasn't busy. Shared a small wood fired pizza and fresh cut fries with family. The fries are made from fresh, local potatoes and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend these! The pizza was good, but I would try something else if I went back again. The fries? Those could be addictive.
Atmosphere? Right beside Highway 7 so it's loud and dirty.
Picnic tables were super sticky.
There is lot's of parking.
