The folksy mother and son team are friendly and chatty, and the food is plentiful and well-priced, as expected in a diner. However, the diner itself could use an update, as it appears tired and a bit dark. The washrooms, while functional, are badly in need of a full renovation.
Despite the dated decor, the owners and staff are very friendly, which makes up for the old, tired appearance. The food is super simple but good, and the prices are dirt cheap, making this a true greasy spoon, small house restaurant kind of place. Customers who recently moved to the area have already become regulars, drawn by the pleasant and friendly staff and the fantastic food.
