- thought we would treat ourselves and had a special Valentine’s reservation booked for 6:30. The Oshawa Generals must have been in town because we had to park 4 blocks north of the restaurant.
- we stood waiting and listening to the bartender grumble about being so busy for 25 minutes without anyone even acknowledging our existence, apologizing for the delay, asking us if we’d like to have a drink at the bar while we waited. AND half the tables were unoccupied.
- finally got seated, were given the food menu but no drinks menu. They eventually set 2 glasses of water on the table without making eye contact and rushed off but didn’t even ask if we wanted a drink.
- after 15 minutes sitting there twiddling our thumbs, my husband went to the bar and asked if he could order 2 glasses of wine. He was told to take a seat and someone would be right over.
- after 15 more minutes, we left and went to our local pub where we were seated immediately, had good hot food and the staff were super friendly.

I tried to give the benefit of the doubt because we went to the restaurant on Valentine's Day, but the service was so egregiously bad that the rating still factors the expectation that things would be slower. The major items to note: -Approx. 45 mins until we received our drinks, approx. 1 hour to receive a bread basket, and approx.1.5 hours until we received our appetizers. We left after 2 hours without receiving our mains -Our server didn't seem to know the menu (food nor drinks). This wouldn't be a big deal normally, but for an $85 set menu I'd expect them to understand and speak to the limited menu -No system for ordering/running food. Tables that sat after us were getting their dessert and we still hadn't received our mains -The bread was so sweet that it was more akin to cake than bread
For what it's worth, one of the servers did seem to care and tried to help get things expedited when we let him know what was going on. It seemed to be a total failure for both front of house and back of house operations.

Never come here! Specially not on Valentine's Day. We had a reservation 8pm, we got a table quickly but after they sat us down we never saw any staff member in our section, it was 8:30pm and they didn't even had taken our order, we decided to leave and not longer keep waiting as we saw how EVERYONE was waiting for something, either their bill, their dessert, their main food, nothing was happening. This place is not the same as it was before!

I am not one to leave a bad review normally however this is honestly the worst dinner service I have ever experienced. I came here on Valentine’s day with my partner as we wanted to try a local restaurant and saw 4/5 stars. To start, there was a set menu that was not disclosed to us at the time of making our reservation or even before being sat, nor was it explicitly explained these were the only options for this night regardless of us not wanting the set menu. It was $85/person for this set menu which is a bit pricy especially compared to how the food is priced on their normal menu. The options presented seemed worthy of being $85 a person HOWEVER we did not get the quality dinner service or food that one expects with an $85 set menu. We waited 35 minutes before even being asked what we would like to drink and then had to wait an extra 10-15 minutes for the drinks. When we got our appetizers (we both got the beef carpaccio) they both tasted fishy and were smothered in what tasted like caesar salad dressing which was not great. When we received our entrees (both of us got the surf and turf) our steaks and lobster were both incredibly rubbery, hard to cut, and the steak was beyond undercooked. The cow was practically still mooing at us despite us asking for medium rare. The flavours of the dish were nothing special, and very underwhelming especially for the price of them. We did not even order our dessert as we were tired of waiting forever and did not want to be even further disappointed. Despite us also finishing our waters before our appetizers they were never once filled again. We witnessed 4 other couples get up and leave after sitting and waiting to order drinks for roughly 30 minutes, which in hindsight we also should have done. In total we spent $192 with tax for the worst meal and service we’ve ever experienced. This is by far the biggest waste of money for a restaurant charging insane prices, advertising high quality food and service and then providing extremely sub par food and service.

I have celebrated my Birthday with friends at Fazios for the last 10 yrs. On Feb 10th we celebrated my 61 st BD. As ALWAYS they did not disappoint ! The Food is to die for if you love authentic Italian. Our lovely server ( I wish I had of caught her name) was a delight, we truly wanted her to join us. Fazios has been one of my favorite restaurants since it opened. Thank you Fazios for another Perfect Birthday evening !

First time coming here. Sadly you only get 1 time to make a good impression. Our server was Anne and she was great. Personable and efficient. My husband's seafood pasta was fine but my fillet (ordered medium) was soo rare that i thought it may moooo at me lol. Also bacon that was wrapped was super under cooked aswell. Had to send back and still undercooked when returned but tolerable. Bacon was still awful undercooked and straight grizzle. I ate the ste steak and most of the sides but was after my husband was basically done his meal. Made this evening unsatisfying. Was never looking for a free meal but saw our server addressing owners/managers about the experience and as someone very versed in this industry, thought a discount or a free dessert should've been offered at the very least. Anne thank you for your amazing service, owners please teach your cooks/chefs how to cook a steak and please yourselves learn a bit more about customer satisfaction

Honestly after literally over 20 years in Oshawa I finally decided to eat here. I was impressed across the board. I love how cozy the atmosphere is, classy and private. We went for lunch with a large group. I imagine even when the house is packed it still maintains a level of privacy and cozyness with how they've split up the seating and tables. The prices were I think the biggest surprise, very reasonable especially for what you get. Felt like reading a menu from before this inflation really hit everywhere. Unexpected and welcome that's for sure. Arrive was great and polite, dealt with our large tables and multiple children really well. Food was exactly what I wanted. Burger was delicious and juicy with layers of flavor. Fries were factory but the best kind of factory fries. Everyone else's dishes looked delicious as well. Will be going back for sure!

Again very happy with the service and food although the last two times I've been here there has been no beef for lamb shanks is most recent time I understand they pride themselves and getting quality means and that's not always available.

Please for the love of God the men's bathroom either needs a hand dryer or for you to adjust how much paper towel and how fast it comes out of the automatic paper towel dispenser. Or better yet make it a manual dispenser.

Just received our order of spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parm from Skip The Dishes. First of all, my chicken parm had 0 sauce on top (???). My husband had to put some of his spaghetti sauce on the chicken. Also, the chicken was burnt to a crisp. Thought it was steak because of the black colour. Won't be ordering from this place again. How do you send out food like this? Very disappointing!

Atmosphere was nice and we were seated in a very quiet area in the cave. The food was good. Caprese and bruschetta beautifully presented and fresh. Mains were good but presentation lacking - spaghetti and meatballs had meatballs hidden under pasta and looked thrown on the plate. Service was not great at all. Only one server seemed to be working on a saturday night so probably not her fault. We waited 10 minutes to be seated with no one else there and a reservation. We were not greeted at our table and the server only showed up twice - once to take our order and once to take our money.
