I went into Legend of Fazio’s with high expectations, thinking I was in for a true fine dining experience. Instead, l was served a meal with RAW chicken. I ordered the chicken parmesan, which they claimed was a popular dish. The first bite tasted strange, but I brushed it off. A few more bites in, I looked closer and was horrified to see the chicken was completely raw in the middle. Bright pink, rubbery, and clearly never cooked through. The fact that a restaurant could put something that dangerous on a plate and call it dinner is beyond me. What should have been a classic dish turned into a stomach-turning nightmare. I left feeling sick just thinking about what I had eaten. Absolutely unacceptable and something I would never recommend to anyone.

Delivery order: We ordered 2 buy one get one, Caesar salads (4 total) as well as two mushroom risotto’s… it would have come to $158 if we didn’t have this deal and we were just absolutely blown away at how ridiculously small the portions were of the salads and risotto, not to mention my five-year-old could make better risotto and apparently this is a $44 dish 🤣😂… It was tasteless and was like a treasure hunt to find the mushrooms… there are MANY other more amazing places in Durham that one can eat for a fraction of the price and the quality and quantity is much, much better. Would not recommend this place whatsoever…wayyyy overrated!

The staff and kitchen staff are phenomenal. Fazio's is a wonderful restaurant in the heart of Oshawa. Do yourself a favor. Stop in for a meal. You will not be disappointed. I have been there several times and each time has been a phenomenal experience.

In the heart of Oshawa is a wonderful Italian Steakhouse restaurant called Legends of Fazios. I've been here several times over the years and never ever have I had a less than stellar experience. The drinks, the food, the service always impeccable. Be it a special dinner for two, birthday celebration or treating yourself to a meal. You will not be disappointed.

They servers and owner are very nice. My issue was the disorganization. Right off the hop 1 girl took the orders on one side of the table while another took the other side. The problem was one took drinks only the other took drinks and entree. We got that straighten out. My daughter ordered a starter and salad for her entree and it was brought out before every ones dinner. Right off the bat they said they had no prime rib, no ravioli. It seemed whenever we asked a question they had to go and ask. The food when it did come was ok after waiting an hour for our meals we were starving. I think the issue is the servers seemed very inexperienced. There should have been no reason that one server could have handled a table of 8 where 4 of the meals were the same. It was disappointing as it was for a special occasion . Found the prices ok except the rib eye that my husband paid 44 $ for and it was paper thin. The pasta with the chicken parm was a cream sauce and not much of that. All in all not a great experience. It really is unfortunate because they seemed like very nice people just not very well organized

The server was sooo nice but the manager was soooo rude. We ordered the steak and lobster and asked for medium for the steak. But it came out was fully cooked. So we asked for a new one. Then the manager came out and said our steak was cooked as medium rare. He said that just like we cannot distinguish between cooked and medium rare. But it’s pretty obvious that the steak is over cooked. Lastly, they gave out a new steak but the quality is not good. They even took out the side dish for the steak. This was unacceptable. The attitude and customer service of the manager was sooo bad. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I wish I can give no star on google review.
The owner is very kind and made our stay well worth it. The steak and lobster is one of their best dishes. They have a nice variety of appetizers such as calamari and bruschetta which all tasted amazing. I would come back here again!
Food was delicious, whether it be ribeye steak, bone marrow, crab cake, or creme brûlée. As example, the asparagus was smooth, not fibrous at all. Service by Tiffany was impeccable. Place was neat and attractive. Music was golden oldies, excellent for digestion, unlike the loud rock music other restaurants unthinkingly play.
