Response to owner: If the employee gave me an explanation instead of just saying no that there was no more in the back and no more being baked today due to the oven not working that would have gone along way and this review wouldn't have been posted. So why wouldn't your staff simply advise that the oven isn't working. This entire situation could have been handled so much better but unfortunately it wasn't. I did inquire! Your staff member just said no and that was all. No reasoning nothing just a no so not sure what else I'm supposed to do. Super aggressive owner. No one would ever contact you as you don't know these first thing about customer service. You are just plain rude.
Not even 11am completely out of swiss and herb bagels and no more are being baked?!? Clearly these are theost popular bagels and you never make enough...you are open for 4 more hours and totally out of the 2 most popular bagels?!? What a joke. I worked at this location years ago and we always made sure we had those 2 flavours.

I had a wonderful first-time experience at this charming spot. The meal was delightful, with a perfectly baked bagel, delicious French toast topped with butter, and a smooth vanilla-flavored coffee that you prepare yourself. They also offer bagel dips, which is a nice touch. The service was exceptional—our server, though not overly talkative, communicated a sense of warmth and kindness through her expressions. The atmosphere was inviting, with a cozy brown and beige color scheme, complemented by scattered shades of tile, creating a welcoming environment. Seating options include a front row facing the parking lot, with bench seating along the side, plus an outdoor patio area. The free Wi-Fi is also a nice bonus. The only downside was that it was a little chilly inside due to the front door being left open for a delivery, but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, a lovely experience!

I live an a city where Kettlemans in the height of bagel consumption and that is just sad. Imagine if you will a bagel that is substantial. Hearty. Flavourful. A thicker (but not tough) outer layer with a fluffy, relenting interior. Now open your eyes... you are at The Great Canadian Bagel.
Their flavours range from sweet to savory, with "boring" in between flavours that can't even be called bland because they are just So. Well. Done.
A variety of cream cheeses are made in store and will only enhance your already stellar experience.
Staff is efficient and friendly. Move over Kettlemans, simmer down Tim Hortons, and sorry Costco... these are THE BAGELS.
