The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Oshawa

The service was good, steak was excellent as usual. I was charged of an expresso that I did not purchase.

Great service food for the most part was great but my prime rib was full of fat and gristle making it difficult to eat.

Well here we are another 1 star review for the Keg due to its failing service and overrall downfall of a decent quality restaurant. Made the mistake of giving the keg another chance after the ajax location became so terrible, I guess now I could say the same for Oshawa. Came to celebrate daughters graduation, everything started out great but after appetizers were served, I never saw our server again and the main course took 20 to 25 mins after the apps despite all item orders being placed at the same time. No explanations or anyone providing an update about the long food wait just a sorry after it finally arrived, to then have my very overcooked steak. Wish I could have told my server it was overcooked but never saw them again after the main course was put down. With all of this to conclude with no Billy miner pie served to us and to double down, a request was made for the pie with a special message to be left on it before we were seated. When contacted to speak about these issues, we were told just remind us next time you come in... pardon me? It shouldn't be my job to remind you next time im in that your establishment gave poor service. I am done with the Keg, perfect example of price going up and quality going down. Should change your name to The Inflation more fitting of your currrent standards.

Was one of the best experiences at The Keg. Went there for a birthday. Food was delicious and Jill our server was excellent and friendly.

We had a great experience. Out server was helpful and knowledgeable. Her recommended for desert was excellent.

We always enjoy The Keg for family celebrations. We were celebrating an anniversary. Food was excellent. Only complaint would be the service felt scripted. We heard our server use the exact same lines and jokes he’d used on us with all of the tables in our section as guests were seated and served. We also felt very rushed. Our desert was brought out without asking us what we wanted (assumed what it would be based on our celebration maybe?) and we weren’t asked if we wanted coffee or tea after. The bill was placed on the table before we’d had the last bite of desert. We had an early reservation at 4pm so maybe they wanted us out before the dinner “rush”??

I have to think everyone raves about this place. Food is amazing, service is incredible. Not one negative word about this place except I can't visit enough. Bring your wallet, but be prepared to be astounded.

One of the best services I’ve ever received! We come so often for this reason but yesterday was exceptional. There was a little mishap with my food but my god, both my server and manager went above our expectations. Food as always was amazing! Thank you for making our night special

We had a server named Vicki. She was absolutely the best. I hope the management reads this because Vicki totally enhanced the experience. The prime rib was also excellent

The Keg has never disappointed me in the 25+ years I've gone, and this recent visit is no different. The highest level of service. You may look at the prices and be discouraged, but once you leave, you'll realize you got great value for your money.

We always have a great experience at this restaurant and today was no exception! We did a reservation for the bar as we love how casual and fun that side is! We ordered the Neptune mushrooms and three pepper wings for appetizers, and the sirloin and lobster tail as well as the blackened chicken. We also got the Mac and cheese, garlic mashed and twice baked potatoes as our sides. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I can’t wait to have our leftovers!
