Second time I tried and the result was same, food poisoning. Kanata store sells stale food.

My food was terrible. The sandwich had about three shreds of chicken and with barely any toppings. I should have known after looking at the meat on the spits as they looked SUPER old with no freshness nor any juices coming out. The older guy who served me was miserable. The whole experience was quiet and awkward.

Oily soggy potatoes, unseasoned chicken, not a fan.

How does this place have 4.6 stars? I hate to say this but the food is very bad. The rice has a smokey plastic/metallic flavour that doesn't seem right. The chicken is very very dry and has no seasoning. On top of that, the "salad" that was supposed to come with the platter had half a tomato slice, half a pickle, and 3 spoon sizes of lettuce. This isn't the first time that I've had this experience. Worst shawarma spot I have had in Ottawa and Toronto. Sorry to say this.

The portions are smaller than other Shawarma places. The meat is good but the quality of rice isn’t as good as other shawarma places. There is an older guy there that is a bit stingy with the meat too.. the younger guys are pretty awesome with portions.. either way not my preferred shawarma joint… just happens to be close to my work.

Was here for a training for about a month and might've went here like 6-8 times
Always fresh, always delicious
Pictures don't do it justice on how great of a shawarma wrap is
The potatoes are great
Would recommend the chicken shawarma wrap spicy with everything on it, the only way to enjoy this
