What a wonderful experience! Food was amazing and service was exceptional. They greet you with such positive and welcoming energy and very attentive to their customers. We had their Mezze spread plate and their Doner entree and both were amazing. Definitely recommend going to this place if you’re in the city!

A La Istanbul is a Must-Try!
We had an incredible experience at A La Istanbul. The food was absolutely amazing!! every dish was rich with perfectly blended spices and authentic Turkish flavor. It was hands down some of the best food we’ve had in Ottawa.
At first, we were told we couldn’t sit outside, but the owner personally stepped in, warmly welcomed us, and led us to a beautiful outdoor table. That level of hospitality continued throughout the night 🩷from our sweet, attentive waitress to the surprise complimentary Turkish teas the owner gave us as we left.
This place is more than just a restaurant! it’s an experience full of heart, flavor, and genuine care. Highly recommend!

My friend and I ordered the Feast for Two and shared the Cacik cold appetizer—both were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. As we were leaving, the owner kindly offered us complimentary tea to go, which was a delightful touch. The staff and owner were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout our visit. I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience.
