I had the 2-piece fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious! The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly crispy, and the portion was generous. You can really taste the quality. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also really appreciate that they serve everything in reusable containers—such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. Highly recommend if you’re craving great seafood!

I always get my fix here—lobster roll and fish and chips, and both are phenomenal. The lobster roll is packed with fresh, tender lobster meat, perfectly seasoned and nestled in a soft, buttery bun. It’s rich, flavorful, and downright addictive. The fish and chips are crispy, golden, and delicious every time. Always consistent, always satisfying. Highly recommend!

You can enjoy your meal and relax in the sun anywhere there are shaded tables and chairs. If you're in the mood for a drink, there's a pub just a few feet away. The overall experience was very pleasant. We ordered the lobster roll, and the homemade chips were a nice touch.

Absolutely love Ad Mare. The best seafood you can get in Ottawa imo. Mario is very particular about the choices of seafood he brings in and it shows! I've tried the fish tacos, lobster roll, fish & chips and cauliflower bites. Portions are very generous. I'm looking forward to trying the seafood poutine! The staff are super friendly and bring your food to you while you enjoy a pint on Kichessippis patio. Highly recommend for any seafood lovers, it will not disappoint!

I had some of the best fish & chips here (and I don't eat that dish at restaurants often either)! Was here with some friends today & they recommended this place to me.
The fish was deep-fried nicely, while retaining a good amount of moisture on the inside. The tartar sauce is a great addition to the dish and like another reviewer said, "brings everything together".
The food is worth the price here, unlike some of the recent restaurants I've been to lately. Really happy to finally have restaurant food that is worth spending my hard earned money on these days.

Tried the homemade Clam chowder to start. It wasn't what I expected but very good and tasty. Lots of meat but tiny shredded pieces. Also tried the crab grilled cheese with french fries. Was a good heavy size but I found it just greasy and heavy. As much as I wanted to enjoy it I just didn't and ended up eating about 3/4 of it. The fresh fries were delicious. We also had the 2 piece fish and chips. The pieces were huge and delicious. Honestly 1 piece would have sufficed! The fish and chips were the real star, served with a nice tasty coleslaw. Next time I'll stick to that instead of trying something new. And no room for dessert this time!
Excellent food, food portions, and service. If you're looking for top quality food to enjoy while sampling beers or enjoying the patio, I would highly recommend trying the fish and chips.

Great food! Had the cauliflower bites and the fish & chips. Generous portions! We took ours home so was a little soggy but You can also take your food inside and eat at kitchessipi beer. Very friendly owner of the food truck. He suggested his homeade garlic sauce with the cauliflower bites (made from local garlic) holy crap it was amazing!! Definitly worth a repeat. Parking can be sparce as it is shared with the brewery.

We had the the fish and chips - I think the best fish in Ottawa. Nice and tender fish with not to hard batter. We are inside the brew pub, you can also eat outside at the picnic tables. Reasonable priced, other options available such as fish or shrimp tacos.
