“The lamb shank is famous already but the family special for $99 is also full of delicious food and generous portions. We especially liked the eggplant dip. There are several long tables for larger family. The owner ( Zain) was friendly and helpful. The washrooms are also very spacious with grab bar but not sure whether it is officially handicap accessible.“

“Ottawa South location: My friend ordered lamb shank and i ordered beef shami and chicken.Lamb shank taste n quantity was good. Quantity was ok but shami tasted yum.The whole platter was full of rice and was served with small bowl of lentil chicken. My friend ordered Qabli Rice Afghan Naan and Spinach for takeaway. Next day we were disappointed as the quantity of the spinach was not even 1 serving.Qabli rice was a joke.boiled plain rice topped with lil carrots and dirty raisins. I had to cook vegetable and lentil to finish the mountains of rice:(“

“I'm usually the first one to arrive as I drive my mom to work at the hospital and head there minutes before they open therefore I get the most fresh pies I've ever had through out the years that includes all similar restaurants in the city. They all have there specifically known pie there known for but I honestly think all choices from the meat pie to the zaatar deserve a 5star from here as they're all more delicious then each other.“

“I had a wonderful experience at Harir kabab house! The food was fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked especially the kababs, which were juicy and full of authentic taste. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly, attentive and made me feel right at home. If you are looking for delicious kababs and true taste of afghan/middle eastern cuisine, I highly recommend trying Harir kabab house. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!“
