Tasty, healthy, good portions and reasonable prices. They have a bright upbeat decor that makes going here feel like a vacation on a grey winter day. The condiment bar, in house corn chips and black beans are great! Quality does vary from solidly good to amazing depending on who is cooking, but I have never been disappointed.

WOW! This is the best Mexican food I've ever had outside of Mexico. The complimentary Salsa bar is a great touch, the prices are very fair and the vibe is fun! Definitely a must eat in Ottawa.

It was a very cold night, and delicious fresh food at Ahora. Absolutely incredible enchiladas vegetarian for me and plato con polla for my friend. Sides of beans rice salad. Fresh, flavorful, gorgeous food. We tried all the salsa and Pico de gallo. DELICIOSO.

My experience at this restaurant was not good. The food was ready fast, but it was dry, the taste was awful, and even the chips tasted like the bag had been open for a while. I suppose the rice was cooked at noon, and I was served in the evening. The tortilla was all wet. The restroom was dirty. According to the walls, the restaurant was good back in the day, but now... You can eat way better, with an excellent service and, in a nicer restaurant for the same price.

Amazing food and the atmosphere was pretty good too. Felt like I was sitting in mexico. The taste was superbbbbb, a must visit place in ottawa especially if you like mexican food. Margarita was superbb. The complimentary toppings part is my personal favourite. The food was freshly made and served. The decor was pretty and beautiful too.

This is a very quaint basement restaurant. Loved it. You are welcomed upon descending the stairs. You order at the cash from a good menu selection, and your food is delivered at the table. I had chicken enchiladas served with rice an beans, which you can complement with a salsa bar. Excellent. Lovely service.
