We visited on a Tuesday night, the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The service was flawless—attentive, warm, and delivered at the highest professional level. Our server was remarkably knowledgeable about every dish on the menu and demonstrated an impressive understanding of the wine list, including why each pairing worked so well with the food. She consistently went the extra mile, which elevated the entire evening. We chose the tasting menu, and it was outstanding. Each course was executed at a truly international standard—excellent flavours, thoughtful combinations, and beautifully paced. This is a destination for anyone who expects a high-level dining experience; it easily stands beside top-rated restaurants globally. And then the desserts—the highlight of the night. Desserts are often where even great restaurants fall short, but not here. The meal ended with a remarkable finale: creative, balanced, and technically superb. A huge compliment to the pâtissière. We will absolutely return. I'm grateful to have discovered such a remarkable place in Ottawa. Thank you for a wonderful evening; we enjoyed every aspect.

Really great service! Our server was really attentive and took good care of us. Food was delicious (a tad on the smaller portion side for the price, but that could just be me). Would go back.

From the amuse bouche to the chocolates for our person with the birthday, everything was excellent. We were a bit worried because of the open modern atmosphere and rows of tables that it might be noisy and it could be if there had been any noisy people there but we were fine and able to enjoy our conversations and not anyone else's! Some might find the amount of food a bit sparse but we were all full by the end and the desserts were the right sizes. Our server was very nice and good at explanations of the food items. We never felt rushed or ignored. Slight complaint that the wine list is online on a handheld. It is quite readable but it is divided by bottle/glass then by country then by red,white, rose, sparkling, dessert -- this makes the choices a bit difficult to compare. I think that they should offer a print list as well but I could have always asked for this.

I came here on my birthday because i wanted to save this restaurant for a special occasion… i wont be saving it anymore thou because it was way too good to not comeback regularly. The food is amazing the service was excellent and the atmosphere exceptional. I intend on definitely trying the tasting menu probably a good idea to do that every season lol. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent drinks also i let the bartender create was very good definitely go with the dealers choice. All i know is if u havent tried this place dont think twice its one of my top choices in the city with ease. Oh and yes they did surprise me with desert was fantastic!

The potato free sample has no flavour, the scallop and crab is good but not worth the price at all, the salmon and dry aged beef tastes good, the ratatouille tastes great under the salmon, the lavender cake is good, the free chocolate treats for special occasion tastes good.

Really great food and service. We were bought a few treats we didn’t order which was a nice touch. Elk Rigatoni was really delicious. Resto isn’t too loud so a great place if you want to talk and hear your guests.
