Alirang Korean Restaurant (Rideau)

I ordered Chicken Katsu. What I got was a piece of deep-fried chicken (as in commercial chicken burger style) covered in a mild tomato sauce. Farthest thing from Chicken Katsu that I have ever experienced. Also had beef Galbi which was simply galbi ribs broiled under broiler rather than bar-b-qued. I will never go back to this place (after eating there for years!!!) They are going out of business at the Rideau location at end of this month and it shows. I went to the same restaurant in Nepean

I ordered M13 of the menu. I intend to have noodle, but the server gave me rice instead. The server was so rude. She said I didn't indicate "B" or "S" on the order paper and by default rice will be given and refused to change. Well. If the customer wrote it unclear, why didn't ask for clarification? I came to Ottawa for just two days, and ended up having dinner twice in Alirang. The first day was so good I just had to come again, and it was such a good choice. Food is awesome and service is awesome with a smile. Seriously, sooo good. I wish I could take them all back to Miami!
