Been here twice now, my husband and I thought we would give it another shot when the kids were in school but I think we were even more disappointed. Potatoes were a weird flavour and FULL of unnecessary salt, 1 of my toasts was burnt. The bacon was gag worthy, and when we wanted a refund for said bacon, the manager rolled her eyes at us and was extremely difficult. We won't be returning...ever.

My daughter was looking for a place to go with a "basic breakfast", and they had that for a decent price and a good portion. We had a couple other things on the menu and they were good value.... lots of good fresh fruit included!
So I had been looking forward to trying out this spot as I had heard good things. Unfortunately it was extremely underwhelming. The only part of this breakfast that was good was the service, our waitress was very nice.
To start, upon ordering our breakfasts, everything came out wayyyyyyyyy too fast which immediately signals to me that almost everything is precooked and on standby!?
Now at a restaurant like this where the price point is above average I expect my breakfast to be cooked to order! Not here! The bacon was virtually cold and I had to tell the waitress…. She apologized and brought back another plate, which I knew right away had been microwaved and sent back to me… gross!!
The eggs benedict was the same thing.. hollandaise sauce was lukewarm at best… clearly mass produced amounts of food with ZERO care for quality…
NOT going to spend my hard earned money here again…. Sooooo disappointing and obvious.
Note to restaurant… if you want return customers at least make it seem like someone is actually cooking the food and maybe just maybe have the table wait longer then 6 minutes after order is placed to have food at the table!! Total reg flag to me!
Lastly, the plating I found very odd. Two bowls on a plate, one with potatoes and other with fruit. The fruit bowl makes sense, but the potatoes in a bowl is really odd to me, as far as presentation goes and overall breakfast plate, the potatoes should be next to the eggs benedict on plate. That said, just an observation and waste of a clean dish to be honest. I right away dumped the potatoes on plate, like most of us we want that hollandaise sauce to mix in with my breakfast plate….
Last comment is just an honest breakfast plate observation… the presentation is odd to me done this way?!?

Disappointed after my recent visit to this one. Last I visited the diner was in 2021 and my bad that I assumed the same taste and customer service. The crepe that I ordered was very pan cakey, it was sooo thick with large banana pieces in it, literally there was half a banana. When I tried communicating the concern ( I was not expecting another plate of food for free or my money back, just wanted them to know that how I felt about my food) the server returned to me saying thats how crepes are at their diner. So please let them know how you want your crepe to be if you dont want any surprises.

We had arrived at 2:35pm to order take out, and were turned away. When we asked the manager for the reason why, and explained that we drove from far, she had advised us that the manager told them to close early. We were quiet surprised that an owner of a Resturant would disregard the business hours & suggest his staff to do that. Won't be returning here or suggesting this place any further.

The best part of my experience here was the service I received from Yan. Definite 5 stars to them for providing such great service.
The hostess was very polite, friendly and professional, but sat me at the one and only dirty table in the restaurant. I found this more funny than anything else but worth a mention nonetheless.
The restaurant was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant and upbeat.
Unfortunately the kitchen staff absolutely needs to do better. I got the wrong kind of pancake and the potatoes tasted like the batch had been made a while ago and sat too long. The watermelon was definitely past its prime. Not expired but I wouldn't have served this sad looking fruit myself.
Most importantly though, I recieved expired cretons. I let Yan know and he went to the kitchen to talk to them. He came back and said the cook tasted it and said they were fine. I let Yan know that I wasn't looking for a discount or free meal, I just wanted them to know because it's pretty dangerous to serve expired meet to customers. I doubt the cook tasted the cretons, otherwise he would have definitely noticed it was expired. Hopefully pride didn't get in the way of food safety.

Had a delicious breakfast here last week (tried the signature brunch "Lac Saint Jean" and the smoothie "Tropical fruit & Spinach"). The service was great, was greeted right away and sat quickly. Went during the week around 930am wasn't too busy compared to the weekends. Got food fairly quickly! Will be back soon! Thank you.

Was served by Liz today and she was such a joy! A great attitude and super helpful, and it has been a long time since I have experienced such good service. The food was a bit cold but she is the only reason we want to come back. Ask for her if you want fast, witty service!

First time there and honestly, it’s faultless - every staff member is client focused, attentive, nice and delivers- the menu is excellent and the food first class - and it’s ridiculously good value - I have no other words 5* all day long

The food used to be pretty good here, but today it was really disappointing. The potato chunks were burnt and clearly not fresh—probably leftovers reheated. The toast wasn't properly grilled, and you could literally scoop out the oil with a spoon. The crepe was as thick as a pancake and completely stuck to the plate. Honestly, it was terrible. If you want to have a breakfast that's way worse than what you can make at home, then this is the place to go.

My mom (in a wheelchair) went for breakfast with her eldery friend and had a very very aggressive interaction with a female manager, after having breakfast, when they were trying to tell her about my mom's friends dress being stained from getting up from the table and chairs. The Manager approached them when they asked to speak to them, and said "ya what do you want", when they asked why she was speaking to them that way, she yelled at them, telling them to get out, swore at them, and my handicapped mom who was in a wheel chair. She even told them to never come back. She very rudely said “what do you want me to do? Clean it for you? No!! I’m not doing that!” She is such a terrible representation of your brand and franchise. So unnecessary to speak to customers that way, or to be so offensive. She told them to “Eff off” and kept getting closer to them at which point my mom in the wheelchair told her to step back and told her to not dare touch her eldery friend. I find it unbelievable that this escalated to this level when all they wanted to do was explain that the seat and table stained her dress where it rubbed against it. It was very unnecessary and I expect a phone call from someone much higher up than this terrible manager. Never experienced this ever in my whole life.

Thats not true at all.
Your manager was disgustingly rude and there wasnt dirt in the arm pit. It was from the dirty table at the restaurant.
Your Manager starting swearing at my mom first which caused my mom to get upset. Also if you actually read my review, you would see it wasnt my moms clothes. It was her friends. Clearly you couldnt care enough to even read the review properly.
If you can't hold your awful manager accountable, then clearly you are also part of the problem.
Good luck to anyone who goes to this awful place and deals with the terrible management.
