The last time I came here would have been before 2020, so I thought I'd give it another try considering all the great reviews I've heard. My friend and I visited today (Saturday morning) and expected that there would be some waiting, naturally. We gave our name and phone number, and within 2 minutes, we had received a call saying that our table was ready. Great! Our server was nice and attended to us quickly. We placed our orders within 10 minutes from being seated. From here, it all went downhill. 20 minutes in, we watched as people who came in after us get their food and start eating while we had yet to even get our coffee?? Our server walked by several times, reassuring us that our order was on the way: "just another 5 minutes". 30 minutes go by, and we are still sipping on our lukewarm water while our server avoids eye contact. 40 minutes later, the people who came in after us are now paying their bills and leaving. At this point, I am standing up putting my coat on ready to walk out. Our server comes by and explains that there seems to have been some miscommunication that has resulted in the massive delay, but that he has spoken to the people working in the kitchen so our food should be out any minute. I give it another chance, and thankfully, we do get our food and drinks within the next minute or so. Our server was very apologetic and acknowledged the unnecessary delay in getting our orders out. Without prompting, he explained that the drinks would be on the house and that we'd also be getting a discount. This was a nice and greatly appreciated gesture. As for the food, it was good, albeit presentation could have been better. Our drinks were good too. Should I consider visiting again, I will be sure to avoid peak times.Parking: 100+Kid-friendliness: Kid and baby friendly.

Had a simple breakfast - 2 poached eggs on avocado toast. Would've been great but I asked for soft poached and they came medium/hard. My friend had eggs Benedict...she also asked for soft poached, hers came even harder than mine.Why bother asking how a person wants their eggs if you can't deliver. And it's a breakfast/brunch place; if you can't cook eggs, you're in trouble.

Sat down and waited 15 minutes without a greeting or menu. Eventually got up and went to find a menu. Waited another 5 minutes with no server ever showing up. Wasn't that busy.Breakfast restaurants should be staffed for breakfast....

My favorite breakfast place in the area. LOTS of selection, and extremely tasty, well-seasoned food.Very family friendly (don't go if you're expecting a quiet breakfast). They're always busy, which is a good indicator of the quality of the food. Worth making reservations, though I've never had to wait too long when I've gone spontaneously

Ordered the hamburger steak lunch special, which is described on the menu as being served on a bed of potatoes and comes with soup and coffee. It came with fries on the side. No soup. No coffee.Would have told the waiter, Edgar, but he didn't check in on us for 45 minutes.
