This is a lovely little gem. The food is spectacular. I am never disappointed and the only problem I have is not being able to order everything on the menu as I want to sample it all. The host adds a special aura to the atmosphere in a delightful way. One of my favourite spots in Ottawa.

Lovely staff, and delicious food (good portions too). It is on the pricier end, but well worth the expense. My 5-year-old loved the duck tartine and the mushrooms and escargot! Hubby and I loved the wild boar belly.

Josh the owner and chef of Amuse Kitchen in Kanata was so kind to take our late reservation today. I also want to THANK the staff that stayed behind to feed us since we were driving 4 hours and very hungry.
Everything was divine, from the scallop crudo to the wild boar belly, the jerk steak, the risotto, and finally the curry shrimp. Each dish was had incredible flavor and was beautifully presented.
We’ve only been here once before, and once again thank you, Josh for creating an outstanding menu. Please bring back the shrimp linguine, it was unforgettable. I would give ***** 10 ***** stars if I could!

We were staying in Kanata and decided to see if we could find a spot for a nice date night nearby. We were thrilled to stumble on Amuse, a lovely spot with friendly service and spectacular small plates. Every dish sounded amazing — we’d love to come back to try the ones we didn’t get to taste. The food is incredible and the staff are even better. The vibes are immaculate and the fact that it’s in Kanata is just the cherry on top. It’s a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. We come here for all celebrations - birthdays, anniversaries, new years.. You name it. It’s our favourite place!

The duck breast, risotto, creme brulee and lime & coconut deconstructed cheesecake ❤️.
All of the plates were clean by time we finished our dinner. The chef does an amazing job on his food. The waitress is so personable and welcoming.
I came here for my birthday dinner and will be coming back for all major celebrations because you know that your money is paying for quality.
The little candle coming out with dessert was lovely and thoughtful. Thank you to you guys for the wonderful experience on my birthday.
