We celebrated our end of year golf dinner last weekend with our group. We were 16 guys, we booked the second floor private room with our own private bar and our own private roof top patio to smoke cigars by the fireplace. Great idea!
Food, service, wine (lots of wine), drinks and atmosphere = ALL AMAZING
HUGE shoutout to Ozzie for making this happen for me. Ozzie arranged a set menu for us which included: - Apps (Arancini, Braised Meatballs and Zucchini Crisps) - Pasta (Spicy Vodka Rosé) - The Oz salad - Multiple steak options which included: (14oz Ribsteak which was more like 21, 7oz beef filet which was more like 10 and of course their famous Braised Beef Short Rib (to die for). All served with roasted vegetables and smashed fingerling potatoes. ALL Super delicious!
Whatever they were supposed to serve we got pretty much double the quantity with all courses. Nobody went home hungry in fact all of us went home with to go plates!
I want to thank our servers Kat and Dannelle, GM Eddie, the kitchen staff and again to Ozzie! You all hit it out of the park that night. Thank you so much!

I’ve heard the buzz in Ottawa of this new eatery on Preston Street, Anabella’s Kitchen and Lounge. I’m always up for a new experience when it comes to dining out. So, I made a reservation for this evening decided to surprise my wife. Well , we were the ones surprised in the end. A courageous staff that welcomes you in the door with a thankful smile. Generously taking our coats and directed us to our very intimate choice of seating perfect, I felt like a real champion in front of my wife. She had a smile ear to ear with our seating choice. Greeted by our waitress, pouring a newly bottled water and introducing the venue and what we could expect, well she under sold that. The place is a gold mine, a vey humble menu but filled with tastefulness and quality beyond belief. And I’ve experienced many of the eateries in Ottawa. The chef has a vision that takes dining to a whole other level, folks if you’re afraid of heights please don’t eat here as you will get a nose bleed. An array of food with a unique blend of seasoning never seen before. TOP KNOTCH hands down my new go to very relaxed atmosphere. Plan ahead, as this eatery will be sought out by many. NEXT WEDNESDAY November 1,2023 IS AN OPEN HOUSE, I will be there and so should you. This is an opportunity to taste test true perfection when it comes to extreme dining. Your Welcome “NickTie”. My friend and I walked into Anabella's last night without a reservation. They sat us at the bar and we had such a lovely time. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The food was DELICIOUS and the helpings were generous. We will definitely be back!

Exceptional dinner! Ambiance, service and most importantly the food all surpassed our expectations. Great selections of starters, mains and cocktails. Everyone at our table raved about their meal. Highly recommend the lamb, lobster ravioli and family recipe for dessert, the carrot cake. A big thank you to Oz for going above and beyond to look after our table.

The most amazing food I have had in Ottawa! Everything we tried was platted beautifully and tasted amazing! The margarita was by far the best margarita I have ever had. There truly isn’t any other restaurant like this!! A must try for everyone!!

This was our 2nd visit. We gave a 2nd chance. We went because the food was so good the first time. The first time we went, we were about 45 minutes into our evening when a manager asked if he could move our table to accommodate a larger table that came in. We had to get up with appetizers and cocktails on the table and move to the bar. With doing this, he said thank you so much, ladies we will buy one of your cocktails for you tonight. We appreciate this which we thought was fine. But at the end of the night we closed our bill no cocktails had been taken off the bill. And as soon as we paid the check, the manager came up to us and said let us buy you another cocktail, we didn't say anything we were annoyed. We were asked to move and he didn't follow up with what he said. We can pay for our own drinks. It's just you made us move during our meal. It would've been nice to follow through. Anyway, cut to this past weekend we decided to try it again because the food is actually delicious. It was so loud in there we could barely hear each other speak. Our server couldn't of cared less that we were sitting there. She walked by us at least three times in 20 minutes saying I'll be right back to take her drink order. She never made eye contact with either one of us once the entire meal until I wanted to pay the bill. My friend gave a credit card I had cash sitting on the table. Her response to me was oh you're killing me giving me cash. I have served tables before you don't say that to someone who you've never even spoke to barely the entire meal. Then comes back with change for the hundred in all big bills, instead of just giving me change from the bill so I could leave a tip for her. And when she puts down that change says to me, I was able to scrounge up some change for you. Who says that? We probably won't go back. The food is delicious, but the service twice was awful.

Anabella’s Kitchen is an absolute gem. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for an intimate dining experience. The Lobster Rolls and Zucchini Crisps were simply delicious, a true testament to the culinary expertise at play.

We had a great first experience at this new spot in the heart of little Italy on Preston St. We popped in for an appetizer and a drink. We had the zucchini chips and they were amazing. They also bring fresh bread to your table, baked locally. The staff was friendly and helpful. We sat on the patio at the rear of the property. Great ambiance. We will be back.

Truly one of my favorite restaurants! Cozy ambiance, great staff and the food is out of this world! For cocktails I highly recommend the Tommy, and the Anabella (espresso martini)! Food favorites include carbonara pasta, chicken lolipops, black cod, lobster rolls, halloumi salad, ahi tuna, steaks, lobster ravioli, zuchinni fritters, aranchini rice balls, meatballs and honestly the list goes on!
