I went there to celebrate my friend's birthday, and I called the restaurant to ask if they will do anything special for the birthday girl, and the person I spoke to said "yes, when you get there let the staff know there is a birthday and they'll bring out a desert + candle. I got there and that wasn't the case. I was told I had to bring in my own desert. Coincidentally there were two other celebrants and they both got cake and a birthday song, and it made my friend feel left out. If I wasn't misinformed I would've brought in a desert so her day feels a little bit more special. Apart from this, everything else went well.
Honestly I'm not sure where the hype is coming from here. I get what they are going for but at the price point there are so many better options in Little Italy let alone in Ottawa more broadly. I felt that most things were overpriced except for the apps - service was good if a little pushy, ambiance was fine, but nothing special. I won't be coming back.
Lovely intimate restaurant. It was our first time here. We were looking for a restaurant close to the Gladstone theater. The food and the service were both excellent.

A small and charming spot for date night or girls' night out. The small plates and signature dishes are fabulous.

It was my first experience with my date, and I found the staff and food to be very personable. The chef's preparation was fantastic.
I was quite impressed by the combination of flavours. I ordered the chickpea ragu and it was rich, well balanced and filling. The drinks are also very good. Service was great, not over bearing, just enough to keep up with feedback and refills.
This is a place I will absolutely try again.

Nice quiet, little restaurant with great food and their Dreamcicle Sour was delish. Staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. Went there with my wife for date night, I highly recommend you check this place out!

Small but cozy atmosphere. We ordered four of the shareable platters, each was perfectly portioned for two and packed with flavour. Everything was absolutely delicious. Prices were fair and offered great value. We'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!
Anabella's is a small lovely intimate bistro. We were greeted warmly by our server who was efficient and attentive throughout the dining experience. The main course was excellent, well prepared and presented on the plate. An Annabelle's version of a Caesar salad was supposed to be meal size and hence, shareable but was small and smothered in shaved Parmesan cheese. It was very pricey; it's lettuce a bit of sauce, bacon crumbs and cheese after all is said and done. Parking alert! Street parking is sparse, a parking lot close to the restaurant expensive.
Great ambiance and food.
