So I took extra time expressing I was looking for vermicelli, after being reassured despite my skepticism as I thought it was another item.. I got wheat noodles. Some of it either uncooked/ burnt which I’m not even sure how?
The front counter person seemed impatient.
Surprised based on good reviews but there seems to be a trend across food service in general right now.

My gf and I were passing through Ottawa. And this place was convent and had a good rating. Boy was I mistake the worse Chinese food ever. Avoid this place with all cost. Defiantly not worth the money.

we ordered online for pickup. I'm surprised there is no lineup all around the mall. The food is absolutely delicious. There were praises for every bite. From now on this is the only place for Chinese food.

Omg I ordered today for the first time after this option came up on Uber Eats, since most of the reviews were overwhelmingly positive and the 1-2 bad ones seemed like exceptions rather than the norm, and boy was it the best decision! I thoroughly enjoyed my Saturday lunch and have enough left for one more full meal, and maybe some more. I ordered the Broiled Free Run Chicken with Onion Oil and the Straw Mushroom with Chinese Greens. I loved both! Subtle yet well seasoned exactly how I expect good Cantonese food to be! The chicken was made so well, and I the ginger scallion oil given on the side was a beauty, it's so fragrant and tasty I want it on everything I eat ! The Chinese greens with mushrooms were great too, good amount of mushrooms in there unlike a lot of other places who skimp on that. Overall I'm in love with today's food - so much that I ran to come and put a review today because it absolutely made my day. Will 100% order again. Note to the restaurant: If you can make unusual combos as an option where one can add 2-3 things of their choice but obviously in limited amounts - that will be much more economical for single people ordering in instead of ordering entire plates! Hope you can take this suggestion :) Thanks for the great meal.

Fast delivery via uber eats. Fresh and hot. Combo 4 was a bit of everything I wanted. Very well packaged and apportioned - sauce is separate, perfect amount of everything, tasty and filling. Slightly stingy on the chicken but overall I recommend.

Take four $20 dollar bills and toss them
out the window. Watch them float down. You will have more enjoyment doing that, then spending $80 on inedible food!
Literally inedible. I am so angry. This was the worst food I have had in Ottawa. The sound of the entire meal going down the garbage chute was more satisfying

I have no words to describe how horrible this $80 meal is. I'm assuming it has a 4.7 average on Uber Eats because the ones ordering are college students under the influence. I am so incredibly angry that we spent a fortune on brisket that is so tough, it was like eating leather. (No offense to the late, great Charlie Chaplin who dined on a shoe.) Also, 80% of the brisket is a container filled with potoates. (Potatoes??) The shrimp dumplings are disgusting. The ribs are old, and tough as nails. Wok... Hey!?!? SHAMEFUL.

Typical pick up counter, could definitely use a refresher inside, but was greeted warmly which made up for the decor atmosphere.
Went right in,10 minutes after online ordering from the parking lot, food was ready.
Ordered a combo plate with chicken balls which had awesome flavor, sadly they were just lukewarm on the verge of cold.
Tasty, crispy egg roll with thick plum sauce which has a very nicely balanced profile.
The chicken fried rice was incredibly flavorful.
I asked for extra beansprouts and I was generously accommodated.
Unfortunately the general tao chicken was not good. The chicken was not just tough but hard as little rocks.
Almond chicken soo guy was fantastic!
Overall I'd visit again for a second chance.

If you want to try the best take-out Chinese food in Ottawa, this is the place to go. The prices are reasonable, the owner Alex is super nice, and the food is really fresh. My favorites are the egg rolls and the garlic chicken!

I can't believe I never reviewed this place before!
Fantastic food made fresh and quick and owned by a wonderful family :). I used to live in Toronto and am usually disappointed with Chinese food in Ottawa but I've been able to get some of my favourite foods here! The Eggplant with salted fish is so good ❤️

The best authentic Cantonese food in Ottawa. There is no doubt that I finally found my hometown flavor here! The owner of the restaurant is really nice and humorous, the portions are big.

Amazing pepper salt Japanese tofu (fried breaded tofu shaped like scallops) and pepper salt calamari. Very goo general Tao's chicken. Fried rice noodle with black bean sauce was ok (not enough sauce and noodles not well separated, but rare to find this dish done well). Friendly service. Spring rolls were typical. Got my fill for greasy Chinese food which is nice once in a while.
