Had the Jambalaya, was delicious. Should have taken a photo. My colleague had fish and chips and said it was done well, with proper chips. Live music and the Jays on TV, highly recommend.

I have never had a bad experience at this pub. I am in Ottawa a lot of travels and this is always my go to. Fish and chips are the best, and the best thing they do it the proper Irish/English way, not a plate full of chips, which is the way its suppose to be. The fish was moist and flakey. Batter was crispy as well. Also has Kilkenny on draft. Ive had other items of food there from their bangers and mash to their burgers. Again never disappointed. Always recommended and will always be coming back

We used to come here often in the summer. Today I wanted to take my 5-year-old daughter to the restroom, but the staff refused and rudely said it’s not a public restroom. Very disappointing and unprofessional behavior

Visited 2 weeks ago. Sat outside - great, fun location to enjoy a good Irish beer or drink and people watch as lots of traffic through the walkable Byward Market. Had shepherds pie which was okay. Happy they had Guinness and Kilkenny on tap.
