I rarely write reviews, but Bella absolutely deserves the recognition. From the moment we were seated, her warmth and professionalism set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. She was attentive without being overbearing, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and made every interaction feel genuine and kind.

Bella struck that perfect balance of efficiency and friendliness—you could tell she truly enjoys what she does. She offered great recommendations, ensured our orders were perfect, and checked in just the right amount. Her energy added so much to our night, and it felt like we were being taken care of by a friend who also happens to be amazing at their job.

If you’re lucky enough to be in Bella’s section, you’re in for a fantastic experience. She’s a true gem and a credit to the team. We’ll definitely be back—and asking for Bella by name!

The service is good but we have found the food to be hit or miss even for the same dish. Decent bartenders for cocktails but lousy draft beer selection.

Date night with my wife was pleasant, I had the ribs you can never go wrong and my wife had the braised beef both A+ :) Top it off are server was amazing prompt and knows her stuff just made our experience even better :)

The food was very good, all good except for the waitress named Alicia, who on several occasions almost reluctantly gave us our food and drinks, very bad, I had not wanted to complain, but since she has served my friend and I on several occasions at lunch I decided to give them a bad review today at Baton Rouge in Albert street Ottawa

The Food was good, but nothing Special. The Service on the other hand was terrible, our waiter wasn’t patient at all and already left the table while we still wanted to say something. That is also the reason for the bad review

We went here in the early evening, around 4:15pm and the place was absolutely dead as they open at 4:00pm. Conveniently, I like that type of environment as it is quiet and calm. We were sat and our server immediately approached us, was very friendly and welcoming.

We placed our order, both getting the ribs and were shocked with how quickly they came out. Our food was on our table about 5 minutes after ordering. I was skeptical at first as that is faster than McDonalds but the food tasted fine. It was nothing to write home about but there was nothing wrong with it either.

Maybe this is a result of the amount of patrons but the service was fantastic. I believe our server was also the bartender but he was quick, kind, easy going, and came over at the right times. I would definitely recommend this location.

The Pork Ribs were very soft and you could eat them without cutting. The Truffle Parmesan Fries were ok not a lot a truffle taste. Service was fine and friendly

If in Ottawa and looking for a great place to eat on Sparks Street, look no further. Baton Rouge Grillhouse has a great menu with many options. A visit here on business with a larger party and everyone was pleased with their food selection. Fries are plenty. ribs cooked to perfection, a true clubhouse sandwich and much more. A must try. Enjoy!

Really cozy place for a drink. You will be so lucky if Thomas is your bartender - he is simply the best !
