Good downtown restaurant with good food. They have plenty of room for large groups. We tend to go for team lunches when at the office. Food is always good, service is always friendly and courteous.

We wanted to be in the dinning room,was told no that the lounge bar was only place to sit. My salad was vary old and wilted so it went back. My strawberry Dakar was rimmed with SALT. Ribs were ok. Mixed vegetables were not cooked and were COLD. Baked potatoes were lacking everything aloaded potato should be loaded not a pinch of items.Waiter should not be long and Bushy.

Despite the place looks like a diner, the food is good and the service is very attentive.I got a rare-blue filet mignon instead of rare one, but it was quickly corrected. The chef came to my table and discussed the issue as well as he offered options including a replacement. Finally I got what I ordered and it didn't take long.Prices are lower that at some fancy and fine-dining restaurants.Recommended.

I don't think I've ever been more disrespected at a restaurant ever. After being sat at my table, I overheard the table next to me asking for a fork, the server looks back at my table, sees my utensils as I'm looking at the menu and grabs it from my table to give it to them without saying a word to me. No acknowledgement of my existence. Even the guy at the neighbouring table noticed. It almost felt deliberate.I waited for the server to come back, hoping they at least had the wherewithal to bring me a new set, but nothing. I waited 5 minutes with a closed menu and I didn't even get asked for a drink order. I left.I come to Ottawa frequently for work and stay in a nearby hotel and have been to this Baton Rouge before. I had a good experience then but this most recent experience was awful.

the food was good (despite it not being warm once it got to my table). service was honestly terrible. the person who seated us did not smile while greeting us once, its just basic manners. the service was slow despite the place not being busy when we got there (proof in first picture) it took 10 minutes to get our waters after we sat down. i asked for an extra lemon and by the time i got it my food was almost done. really slow service but good food
