Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar

A very disappointing evening out at this restaurant. I ordered the prime rib, medium rare, and it arrived quite rare and had to be sent back. My GF’s pappardelle arrived and the pasta was mushy overcooked glop. The waiter said he would inform the manager of our issues. The manager returned with my prime rib and apologized. The beef was now cooked slightly more than medium but was much better. The manager was not told about the pasta, so we took the opportunity to tell him. He agreed the pasta should never have left the kitchen and suggested substituting another dish, which my GF did. The new dish was much better. Unfortunately, because of various dishes having to be sent back and redone, we weren’t able to eat our meals all at the same time. While we appreciate the manager and waiters were responsive to the issues we raised, we were disappointed that we weren’t offered any compensation for the inconvenience (comping is our dessert, for example)

We were here as a small group about two weeks ago and it was a great experience. The food was excellent and our server Jay, was amazing. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and also provided deep explanation about wine options. Furthermore, he had the perfect timing for everything. Food arrived just as we finished our salads, refills for pops were brought without us asking. We will definitely be back. Our only complaint is that the restaurant was overly noisy.

Coleslaw taste n cut like baby food party of 14 dint eat it and ribs were cold n not much meat n bbq sauce on them fries taste like shoe string mc cain fries and to greasy.its to bad was our first time and will be our last the price not worth it at all montanas has better meat then botton rouge and I seen there steak not worth the price n pepole at our table complain

Sorry but I have said it over and over, do not go to this location, hunt club location is awful.. please go to Kanata Baton Rouge..
food was cold.. took a long time. They don’t even care.. they offered to warm up the food.. Not even a dessert or drink on the house.. I never give bad reviews.. but this place never again.. terrible.

We had our wedding dinner there last night and they were amazing! It was easy to book in advance and they were so kind to accommodate an extra guest that was not planned for. Service was excellent and so was the food. They even made our dessert special by writing congratulations in syrup on the plate. A lovely surprise! Thank you!

Could you please stop being cheap with your chicken tenders! I took 4 bites and still no chicken! Just bread. I didn’t order a fried bread platter. Wow.. ruin my tendy time. Rude
