I decided to give this location another chance after avoiding it for a couple years as it’s much closer to my home than the amazing downtown one and ordered take out last night, terrible mistake as usual. I think they buy their own takeout containers, literally everything is half of the size of what’s given downtown for takeout unless Baton Rouge as a whole has reduced their portions and changed containers in the last 2 months. Every time I’ve came here the oil tasted old, slow dine in service, or the food was soggy, old oil was the case yet again. Baton Rouge has great food for a chain, but this location seems so cheaply ran if you’ve ever been downtown.

I always love Baton Rouge because their service is great. Quick and easy. The ribs are a must and the garlic mashed potatoes are to die for.

I got the full track of ribs. Asked for a dry rub, which they had, but they didn't put enough spice on it for my tastes. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, though, so that's what really counts. The names potato was covered in tasty salt, and piled with sour cream. The garlic cheese bread didn't have enough garlic, but came crispy in an iron pan. Very fancy restaurant, clean. Very attentive staff. It felt a great place to eat, gather, and chat with friends. I would go again. The price was expensive, but not more than one would expect for such a fancy place.

Had a wonderful dinner with family from out of town!
Service was punctual and charismatic, and our server Gregory was fantastic! He went above and beyond, and convinced the kitchen to make the Crab stuffed Mushrooms 5 pieces rather than 4 to accommodate our party size (unprompted) which was a very kind treat on his part! He also convinced the kitchen to serve my dad some gravy which they usually didn't have, but had the ingredients for from another dish. 10/10 experience, great kindness and service, and delicious food

Our group of 10 had lunch at the Baton Rouge on December 10, and we were disgusted beyond belief. The food was mediocre. My dish was just lukewarm and the $10 side salad was missing key ingredients, plus they had to be reminded to bring the salad dressing. The main complaint is regarding the service, particularly at the end when they were disorganized and kept insisting that we hadn't all paid (which we had). To the staff involved as we were leaving, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. You know who you are. Avoid this restaurant. There are much better choices in the area.

Nice atmosphere but the food was just ok. Not what we expected and certainly not for the price. Recommended prime rib was tende and luke warm, baked potato was nicelydone but served almost cold, ribs sauce was gooey and the chicken tenders were overly coated. They were supposed to have a tempura batter but it was more like KFC. Overall a disappointment. Won’t go back.

The staff was all very friendly and our meal was great. I only gave it 4 stars because we had two servers and it made things confusing as we were asked the same questions multiple times, and they didn't seem to communicate with each other which was slightly annoying (it was just my husband and I). We ordered spinach dip and cauliflower bites for appetizers and never received the cauliflower bites (we were not charged, so it wasn't a big deal). We were seated at a table as we didn't have reservations (totally fine) but ended up waiting quite a while for our bill and the debit/credit machine that my back was aching. I also wouldn't recommend the creme brulé as the top was burnt (this is my favorite dessert, and I've never had it like that before). I would expect better after spending nearly 180$

We had reserved a private room, for a celebration of life dinner. When booking a private room there is a minimum amount you must spend. So if you don't reach your your cap, just order double and take it home! All staff are friendly and accommodating. Appetizers were done well. I ordered filet mignon (med rare) with a fully loaded baked potato. Filet was very good but, just a bit dry. My potato was amazing! Cream brulee, was also amazing, extremely generous portion! My partner ordered the rib steak as he really enjoyed the filet mignon from his previous visit to this location. He wasn't happy with the steak. But the rest of his meal was really well done. Our other 8 dinner mates enjoyed there meals and sweet desserts. This location is a great place for any occasion. I will definitely return the next time I'm back in Ottawa!

Worst meal ever at BR. Smaller less choices on the menu. The worst chicken sandwich I ever had. KFC big crunch is far better. There was too much breading and not enough chicken to even taste it.

Great, friendly service, nice atmosphere, but food is mediocre at best. There are literally hundreds of better restaurant options if you're looking for good food. While independent "mom and pop" restaurants struggle to stay open, chain restaurants soldier on with declining food quality. Support local!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this Baton Rouge location. I was served a cold beef which is unacceptable for any dining experience, especially at this price point. Despite bringing this issue to the manager, I was still charged 50% which added to my dissatisfaction. This experience reflects poorly on both the food quality and customer service. I expected much better and hope this feedback will seriously be taken to improve future guests.

I went to this location with my co-workers on last Friday. We were not satisfied with service. First of all, It was my birthday and they promised a cake at the end, but nothing happened. Secondly, they promised to waved bills for the cold beef. However, they still charged us a half of these bills . We were quite disappointed.
