My husband went to Bamm today to get me a donut for my birthday. We often purchase them at Beechwood market on Saturdays. He didn’t know they were closed Mondays. The owner was in the store and he gave my husband 2 squares to take to me even though they were closed. They were both delicious! Such a wonderful place! Thank you so much!

I go here at least twice a month to get a honey cruller and it’s consistently been the best I’ve ever had. The regular donuts are absolutely massive and 100% the best you can get in the entire city. Exceptionally friendly owners and absolutely an important part of the lowertown community. This family run business is my number one recommendation to anyone looking for a hidden gem in Ottawa

The owner was so nice - let us know about a few special freshly made donuts left over from a special order they did - and it was amazing. The muffin rocked too and the staff were so friendly about us being there with a new baby.
We decided to stay for lunch. The vinegar brined fries were amazing - and my fish sandwich was one of the best I've had. So light and crisp!! Must try.

This spot caught our eye as we drove by today, and wow — what a find! Some of the best eats I’ve had in a long time. The flavours were on point, and the donuts… absolutely next level. The whole vibe is super fun and unique, making it such a memorable stop. Can’t wait to come back for more soon!

I just had donuts my husband brought home from the Bamm donut stand at the farmers market. I’m a donut lover, always have been. A real aficionado. I’ve had over the course of my life thousands of donuts from hundreds of shops. Gourmet shops, mom and pop shops, all over North America, Europe, the world. These are the best. These are the best donuts you’ll ever eat. Beautiful rise on the dough, perfect chew, golden fry, sumptuous glaze, the center of the crueler is like custard. Just simple donuts no gimmicks every aspect executed perfectly. If you don’t try these donuts you will be depriving yourself of a sublime experience. I’d add a photo, but we ate them all.

Do yourself a favour and order everything on the menu!! Grilled cheese croutons, burger egg rolls, smoked lemonade! So delicious and very creative menu items! Super reasonable pricing too! Two of us had apps, drinks and mains for $40+tax. Love love!!!!

I walked in this morning to check it out as I sometimes work in the area, despite not normally making breakfast, they accommodated, though I mostly had gone in for coffee. I walked out with an absolutely delicious breakfast sandwich complete with home made smoked meat.
The owner was very personable. He immediately brought to the forefront of my mind what makes some individual, small businesses, a cut above. They were accommodating, had very good food, and good value. There is a strong community vibe here, and I will be going back.
They do a special brunch once a month, I will be trying this, and their lunch menu soon. They are nut free, which is the pretty unique. They are able to adapt, and tailor your experience, which is even more unique.

Kid-friendliness: Back room with arcade games, some toys, a more kid friendly area
My only regret is that I didn't know about this place sooner, given that it's only a 20 minute walk from me.

This restaurant is one of a kind, it has a very homely vibe and you can tell that there's lots of care and love put into this business. We got a homemade poptart and it was absolutely delicious, thank you to Matt and his sweet family! They're very generous and kind, we most definitely will be coming back here again, highly recommend!!

On one hand, I want to gatekeep Bamm's because it's so good and never too busy. On the other hand, people deserve to know about it. A true Ottawa hidden gem. Incredible food, friendly service, and fair prices. Their burger is maybe my favourite in the city, and the donuts are the best I've ever had. They're constantly doing daily specials to switch things up and they're always unreal. I also appreciate that they host community events. Somehow, most people I talk to haven't heard of this place. Stop by here for lunch before it blows up!!!
