I had the huge honour of being the first to order a new dish tonight: spaghetti with confit octopus. Beautiful balance of citrus and heat. Not to mention impeccable service. Come here!!

Great venue, good location; commitment to quality of food, food sourcing and service make this one of the best places in Westboro if not Ottawa. The ambiance is subdued, classy and classic with a clear inspiration from the art deco. I wish it were quieter but the company is always impressed when we go. Keep up the good work!

Pleasantly surprised by what I would call a refined pub. Overall tasty food. Would however recommend the bison carpaccio get a makeover: the meat was watery and unfortunately missing seasoning. I even had to ask for a bit of olive oil to give it more taste. Prices are pretty steep for what is expected from a gastropub. We nonetheless enjoyed the ambiance and friendly staff.

We visited this restaurant last Sunday. (Jan 17,2026 ) Unfortunately, the food quality was very poor. The meat and cheese platter was low quality and not enjoyable at all.
The beer glass had an unpleasant smell, and we had to ask the server to replace it. While they did change the glass, the overall experience was disappointing.
The kitchen is very close to the seating area, and the strong food smell was constant. By the time we left, our clothes smelled like food.
I would not recommend this bar.

Fine dining quality dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Our family shared hamachi tartare, bison carpaccio, and sunchoke starters, followed by the veal ragu pasta and the sablefish. Every dish was exquisite!
