This place is truly amazing. The cocktails are so good. If you want something different, they can also create a cocktail just for you. The mixologists are always on point. We always enjoy having some cheese and charcuterie. I had the best sourdough cracker there - like, the best ever.

Bar Lupulus holds such a huge place in my heart. My partner and I have celebrated numerous anniversaries here. The food, service and atmosphere are all top-notch. Excellent selection of drinks! Wish I had photos to share of the food, but we were too busy devouring our meals. Seriously, the food is just incredible. The hard work and dedication that's poured into creating every element that makes Bar Lupulus one of a kind. I can't express my gratitude enough for the owners and staff who make Bar Lupulus the extraordinary place it is.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating for my injury (walking with a crutch). They patiently explained items on the menu and were attentive throughout.

Excellent place for delicious foods that are very original, very creative, and that taste incredible. Their food and drink menu are well worth the visit. And the ambience is relaxed, enjoyable, and social.

Don’t know how this place got a 4.7 rating. The charcuterie board was TINY, and the noise too loud to have a conversation with my friend. Both if us said we’d never go back here again. For $68 was a complete waste of money.

Make reservations for evenings and weekends because this place gets busy! Huge, rotating selection of craft beers, sours, stouts, etc from all over. Staff are friendly and can help pick a drink. The food is delicious and inventive, which is a nice treat for a "bar". Wines are also quite varied. One of my favourite places in the city.Wheelchair accessibility: level access, and main floor washroom accessible

Bar Lupulus is the 100/10 best restaurant in the city. If you are a lover of craft beer (especially sours) and natural funky wines this is the place for you! The beer and wine menu is ever changing and there is always something different! The food is severely underrated in my opinion and no one else is doing it like this! The beef tartare is top tier and the pasta is always next level! The veal cheek pasta is unbelievable and a top ten dish in Ottawa for me! The food, drinks and especially the service is what keeps us coming back. The staff here are skilled, friendly and so personable. We leave feeling so well taken care of every time. If you aren't going here you are missing out!

I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Real ingredients are used to make delicious and intriguing dishes, dishes you shouldn't try at home. The wine and beer list are top shelf.

Excellent choice of craft beer (more than 20 options) and cocktails but it was the food that brought the wow factor. We bookended our meal with Buffalo Carpaccio as a starter and duck fat chocolate cake to top things off. Mmmmmm

Great tap selections- lambic was particularly tasty. Tartar had really nice woody notes and balanced with acid - puffed cracker was a nice touch. Duck was rendered well, slightly toothsome to my tastes but I prefer a minimal cook and was still very nice flavor. The accompanying purees and sauce were highlights. The chocolate torte was on the heavy side but the ice cream and puffed rice soil would be a perfect dessert on their own. Good, knowledgeable service and a pleasant room despite our reserved table being located as close to the bathroom as was possible. Would recommend for those looking for casual French based plates with some innovative touches and a strong tap rotation.

Had a great dinner with my girlfriend and a friend! Everything was fantastic and delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone, it's pricey but the value is great! Smaller menu and roasting so you always have the best quality food as well as beverages! I recommend the desserts at the end especially the cheesecake and sorbet! Desserts aren't too heavy or rich, so won't make you leaving overrun. 10/10 great food, drinks, and service!
