The freshness of the food was outstanding and trust me Iam very picky about food quality.I highly recommend this place to eat .server Jarrod was very nice and friendly and makes a decent piña colada . Will definitely go beck there again soon to eat . Delicious we ate big meals.and four drinks. Well worth the money. And desserts were very outstanding and delicious . Keylime pie with cream and vanilla ice, cream and pan fried chocolate cookie, brownie with vanilla ice cream and whip, whipped cream very enjoyable evening out. Very relaxing atmosphere.

This rating is specifically relating to their 30 cent Wings on Wednesdays after 8PM probably the best price on Wings in the city, you have to order a drink, but its a very good deal!

I recently attended this restaurant for the first time. Although the restaurant was nearly empty, several tables had dirty dishes from previous guests and servers were walking past them as if the responsibility was that of the next shift. Also, the food was not at all as described in their menu. The cooks clearly either do not know their menu or do not know how the make a basic sandwich. Also, the beers on tap are listed as a premium imports but are locally brewed. The bar manager does not know the difference between imports and domestic or thinks the clientele is too naive to recognize an inferior product. Stop charging imported prices for domestic product. Not returning to this place.

I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Naomie, and she is one of the best bartenders I've ever had. 10/10 experience.

Stopped in on the fly for a bite and a drink on the patio. Food was great, well what arrived was, although the server was pleasant he forgot to order my food... So, I sat there with my glass of water watching my friend eat and drink. (I don't correct these things, I take it as a sign that it's not for me, maybe it would of been a waste of money or un-enjoyable...)
Her drink was tasteless (majito) as the mint and lime were just thrown in and not ground up to extract the flavors to make to drink. This is Not somewhere we've stopped before, not sure we will again, but the food we did get was good. The rest looked or sounded good. So I'm sure it's an OK spot, just not lucky with our experience.

Very expensive, over $100 for dinner for 2 with beers. They made my old fashion with fireball

Do not order the Nashville burger.... the chicken is the size of 2 nuggets combined... upgraded from fries to poutine and the portion was disappointing..the regular fries serving was even larger. The drinks are weak...would only recommend beer at this place...the server doesn't confirm what's on your bill...so you end up paying for your buddies stuff to avoid making a fuss.

Food was okay. Service was slow, although it was not that busy. We had a better time in Almonte Barley Mow and would prefer to visit there instead.

The food and service were great. I really enjoyed the Fish & Chips meal. They were very accommodating by exchanging the coslaw with gravy.

I'd been to the Barley Mow in Barrhaven and the food was really good. When my friends invited me to the Barley Mow in Merivale I was happy to go. I ordered the exact same appetizers and meal- it was awful. Some had no taste, others were cold or burnt. It was not very busy and the food took forever to come. I will not return to the Merivale location. Our waitress was very friendly though.

I had an amazing experience at Barley Mow on Merivale Road. The stout beer was delicious, and the food was fantastic. We tried the meatloaf and fish & chips, both were very tasty and came in big portions. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly, with a great live music band. The service was exceptional. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last!

Stopped for lunch yesterday, my wife and I both had the fish tacos and I ordered some Cajun wings as well. I don’t recall the server’s name but she was excellent and so personable. The food was 10 out of 10, the fish tacos were so delicious as were the wings, we will be going back!!
