I had an amazing experience at Barley Mow on Merivale Road. The stout beer was delicious, and the food was fantastic. We tried the meatloaf and fish & chips, both were very tasty and came in big portions. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly, with a great live music band. The service was exceptional. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last!

Stopped for lunch yesterday, my wife and I both had the fish tacos and I ordered some Cajun wings as well. I don’t recall the server’s name but she was excellent and so personable. The food was 10 out of 10, the fish tacos were so delicious as were the wings, we will be going back!!

Popular for its pub-stlye restaurants within the city with a welcoming atmosphere, hearty meals and lively entertainment. I consider Barley Mow a good choice when looking for a reliable pub experience with friendly service and lively atmosphere. I enjoyed the burger, crispy chips, wings and wraps.
