Exceptional Service from Employee of Baskin Robbins I had an outstanding experience at Baskin-Robbins thanks to Jacky. His cheerful attitude and genuine passion for ice cream truly stood out. I ordered and paid for an expensive birthday ice cream cake online and when I went to pick it up, I was told that my order had been disregarded by an employee. Instead of reimbursing me, they said they would make me one that same day. When I went to pick it up hours later on my child's birthday, they presented me with something that looked like it was made by a toddler and totally different from the cake I ordered online. I paid over $65 for something I didn't want but had no choice to accept because it was too late to do anything else. This place has no regard for clientele and I wish I had never done business with them.

I have been a happy client of this store for several years. Then it closed for about six weeks for "renovations". Now the scoops used to scoop up ice cream for a cone or a take-out "3-scoop" container are noticeably smaller. Other clients commented on this change when I was there tonight as well. The servers could add another scoop to bring the take-out up to its former size, but they won't. I guess they're under orders. What a cheap shot from the franchise owner.As well, I noticed tonight that the pralines n'cream flavour has changed for the worse. It's kind of flat and watery, not as rich.Bottom line: I'm gone. There are a number of local ice cream joints, and I should have been supporting them earlier. Now I will. So should you.
