During a family trip to Ottawa, we of course stopped by the Beaver Tails stand in the Byward Market. I remembered how good these doughnuts were from when I was a kid growing up in Ottawa.

The Beaver Tail we bought was good and hot, but I must say, I was surprised by the price. At over $8 for a single, plain doughnut, the cost is prohibitive for a family. We just bought one, and shared it.

Tried BeaverTails for the first time in Ottawa and absolutely loved it. The pastry was warm, crispy, and soft inside, and the toppings made it even better. Definitely a must-try Canadian snack when you’re here.

Was buying a homeless lady a beaver tail and she was causing a bit of a scene and spilt the rootbeer and blamed the worker (young girl of colour, blonde braids) but the worker handled it very well. I’m sorry she got mad at you it wasn’t your fault please don’t b mad at me
