Went here due to glowing reviews from friends, took a while to get seated (that was fine), once seated the waitress took our drink orders and left. We didn't see her again for another 15minutes. We placed our food order in, waited another 45 minutes for a pizza... we ate. We still didn't see our waitress for our bill, waited another 20 minutes.. nothing.Finally decided enough waiting around so got up to go to the counter to pay and leave. Never ever will come back here.

Shout out to Luigi for Easter Sunday! I had a dinner guest with food sensitivities I had missed until the last minute. I stopped in with my dilemma and Luigi sautéed delicious chicken and mushrooms in olive oil for me so they had something special. SO KIND. My favourite neighbourhood restaurant for over 35 years.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for decades! Known throughout Ottawa as one of the best pizzas in town, this restaurant has great food, and their menu has been recently refreshed. New management, regular live music nights and special menus. Awesome place to meet up with friends, enjoy a family dinner or do take-out. Tons of parking, friendly and welcoming staff.

I have been a loyal customer at Bella Vista ever since highschool in the 80's. The ability back in the day to go there at lunch from Ridgemont High School and grab some awesome pizza or fries with gravy was a tradition that has been passed on through the generations.The pizza is, and was always very good and made with quality ingredients.The review by that person 30K_boi... is very misleading as he himself had obviously a personal bone to pick with the restaurant and took pictures of things from the basement and backroom which are not representative of the front of the house and the equipment, supplies and ingredients used to prepare the food for service. He should more look at his own personal hygiene, attitude and work ethic as a yet another entitled useless millennial snowflake with no work ethic who has no ability to hold down a job.I will continue to enjoy my meals prepared for me by the wonderful staff who are celebrating Bella Vista's 50th anniversary!

I can not believe how the prices have risen there. Everything is more expensive... but this place is ridiculous. The portions are so small. Ive seen larger portion for a seniors or kids menu. Menu has been stripped down to almost nothing. Did not have proper coffee cream today either. Won't be going back anytime soon. Thanks Lyon P

Visited Bella Vista for first time in a few months, everything looks fresher and brighter - all very nice. Pizza was delicious, as usual. They now have Redneck on tap. Recommend you go again to see all the changes.

I really enjoyed Fish & Chips, which was very tasty n fresh. My only minor suggestion would be less batter & a bit crisper (for my preference).My husband had Combination Pizza and really liked it.Vegetarian options: Lots of options for Vegetarians & VegansDietary restrictions: Let them know your restrictions, and they will accommodate you.

I really enjoyed the pizza I ordered. It took a little longer than I had anticipated for the food to arrive after being ordered, but it looked like they may have been short staffed. Idk. The only reason for timing was because of lunch time and had to be back to work.
