I came here for breakfast and the Croque Madame here is pretty spectacular.

I only eat chicken nuggets. Always have. Always will… except when I go to Benny’s Bistro. They don’t even serve chicken nuggets, and yet it’s still my favorite restaurant. That should tell you everything you need to know.

The food is absolutely amazing—every dish I’ve tried (especially Yukon Potato Gratin) has been packed with flavor and made with real care and love. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are super friendly, and the whole place has this welcoming vibe that keeps me coming back.

A classic and well kept secret for locals!

Amazing staff. Delicious food, but it took some time to come.

This place was great. I got the mushroom omelet and it came with a side salad and some bread. The omelet wasn't overcooked and the mushrooms tasted good. My wife got some nice french toast with rhubarb jam. Nice art on the walls. Nice.

Fantastic little bistro with a limited but good menu (just as a bistro should be). Duck breast was fabulous.

Had the most amazing brunch at Bennys Bistro today. From the atmosphere to the friendly staff and the quality of the food we were blown away.

Absolutely loved the place. The food, the ambiance, and the service were top-notch 👌 definitely a jewel to check out if you're in the area before hitting the gallery, museums, and whatnot.

By far one of the most delicious brunches that I have ever had. Thanks for the food and service!

Almost walked away because I didn’t want brunch, glad I didn’t. Staying was totally worth it and the staff is just the friendliest. Don’t even get me started on the food …. 🤤

Best brunch in the Market. Service is always great, and a very high quality meal. A hidden gem!

My family was visiting and I brought them to Benny’s before they set off on a long road trip. Everyone loved the atmosphere—it’s a funky space with good artwork to enjoy. The open kitchen is a neat experience, with the staff chopping fresh veggies right where you enter. The service was personal and the food…oh the food! We had brunch and everyone said the eggs were the best they’d ever had. The potatoes were soft inside, crispy outside, and not greasy, with the most delicious chunks of perfect bacon. The salad and bread were both fresh and the hand-pulled coffees were divine.

This used to be one of our favourite places to brunch.
Unfortunately our last visit was lackluster.

We had old menus from the summer for brunch that didn't reflect the current french toast option. The server commented the delightful summer one wasn't an option obviously.

The wait time was ridiculously long and the restaurant was 3/4 empty.

What was really the final straw was after getting our café au lait bowls we were handed 2 packets of sugar for the two of us.
When I asked for more and the server handed us two more packets one each we weren't amused.
Why be so stingy with the sugar??And he remarked how strong the coffees were. So bizarre, I have never experienced this ever at any restaurant.

Many fond memories here in the past but we will be brunching at another restaurant next time.

Cramped space and boring decor.
food was small, overpriced and cold.
Service was terrible, no check ins, took an hour to ask us what we wanted and another to serve.
