Definitely a place to party and get drunk and loud. Worth going for the first 10 oysters for $10. They were clean and no sand texture. Good quality oysters too and food was great. Glad they have the alligator bites back on the menu :)

I visited Feb 16th with a reservation. Oysters were amazing with minor shell breakage and the kitchen graciously took my order to have them with extra lemon and hotsauce as is traditional even though it wasnt on the menu. The waitress was amazing and the service was on par with the atmophere and both were devine and elegant. Prices are awesomeI had a very lovley experience and hope to come back again. My only issue was that the waitress didnt ask how my partner would have liked his steak on the salad and it came out to undercooked for him which I ended up eatting. I thought the steak was good and cooked med rare which is my prefrence but not the person who ordered it.

The food here is absolutely terrible. When I first found out they reopened about a year ago it was great. I don’t know what happened but every time I’ve come here after that the food has been awful. I’ve tried 3 times just to see if it was one bad night but each time it’s been worse. They should really get a chef that knows how to do their job.In response to owner: I have been here multiple times I can’t remember each day but most recently was last Thursday I believe. I have had your oysters that’s were improperly shucked. I have had burnt crab cakes. I have had mush tasteless jambalaya, rubber scallops, snot seafood dip that tasted like it was going rancid, overcooked and again tasteless creole chicken just to name a few. I tried numerous different things to give you guys a fair shot. You need a serious upgrade in kitchen staff. I’m not one to complain or send things back, but at this point I had to say something. You used to be one of my favourite restaurants. So disappointing.

Terrible experience! We were seated at 5:30pm. After 10 minutes we asked for a menu and for someone to take our drink order. We received our apps at 6:20! We were also told they were out of corn bread, were we ok with garlic bread? We said that was ok, but we never received it. Finally at 6:45 I spoke to someone at the bar about how long we had been waiting only to be told she was not our server, but she would speak to the manager. At 6:50 we finally received our mains. Over 1 hour and 15 minutes! Other guests who came in after us had eaten and were leaving! After asking for our bill, we were told by the server she was trying to get us a discount. So again we waited. We received a 25% discount. Shameful!! At no time did a manager come to apologize. Again shameful! This is not the way to manage a business!

I am so happy Big Daddy's Baseline/Fisher is back.We loved and shared the seafood fondue, and mussels were great. Coconut shrimp was over cooked, not enough coconut so it was more like battered, and imo should be butterflied shrimp. Would love a couple more choices for the wine at happy hour. All in all, it was good and will go back, but will pass on the coconut shrimp. which sadly is favorite of ours.

We were a table of 7 Saturday night for birthday celebration 5 seniors (3 in there late 70s) and 2 in early 50s. Thanks to an obviously sick waitress with a bad cold 3 of the seniors and 1 in early 59s she came close to are terribly sick with a cold by Tuesday. Why didn’t she wear a mask.

Went on Thursday and Sunday. The food tasted better on Sunday. Oyster was bigger with the off one or two being not fresh compared to Thursday being super tiny which I figure might just be how the market was that day. The Burbon Street Gumbo was actually missing sausage on Thursday until we got it again Sunday. Food was ok overall just don't seem consistent. If I had to go again I would go on a Sunday :)

Not very happy with the experience since this location re opened. This is supposed to be a southern kitchen bar experienced which it used to have. It looks nothing like a southern restaurant since you renovated it. The food is not even the same, items and tasty food is not there, why risk re opening if you decided to change it. Service, also not there. Staff need to be friendlier and pay more attention to customers. Quiet honestly , I don't think we will revisit the location unless changes are made.Bring back the food flavor. The calamari is too crunchy, so much dough it takes away from the calamari flavor. No oyster bar anymore??? Crab cakes burned on the outside.Once again, this sis supposed to be a southern experience kitchen. Please make it happen.Good luck.

Cockroaches everywhere. Disgusting. Makes me concerned on how clean their kitchen is, how fresh the food is and how they are storing it or the garbage.

I have been for dinner twice in the last 3 months. Both times it was TERRIBLE. The first time we went there was a group of very loud drunk guys at the bar. They were extremely loud and obnoxious. The manager apologized, said they were drunk, but kept serving them more alcohol. Our food was also poor. The oysters were warm when they came out. It took a long time to get a few apps. Once we were done our meal, we FINALLY got the bread we had asked for at the beginning of the meal. The vodka martini was made with olive juice from a jar of marinated olives, so there were herbs in my drink. YUCK!!I went back last night to give is a second chance. The restaurant was not busy at all, only 3 tables. When we walked in, the corner table was covered in dirty dishes. Those dishes stayed there the whole night, and were still there when we left. That used to be my favorite table to sit at, but now it's just a dumping ground for the staff. We ordered a dozen oysters. It took almost 30 minutes for the oysters to come out. When they did they were warm, dry and did not taste good at all. Had a very fishy taste, of oysters that have turned. I had to go to the bar to request spoons for the sauces as the platter didn't arrive with any. When we had eaten a few, our plate sat for at least 20 minutes before the waiter came by to clear it. We mentioned that the oysters were off and our waiter was gracious enough to remove them from our bill. Our mains arrived shortly after and were very tasty. After having our food packed up we waited for our waiter to come back around to offer coffees and desserts. He never came. I had to get up and ask for our bills.I used to LOVE this restaurant back in the day. I used to go for dinner at least once a week. I was so excited when I saw that it had reopened. Sadly it is not the same as it used to be. There just seems to be a lack of anyone caring about standards.
