Purchased a French fries ask a simple question which was can I see the size of a small fry and the owner rudely responded that people have been buying fries for decades and still people don’t know size. If those things annoy you Sir maybe you shouldn’t be in that type of business.

Great food selection! Basic picnic seating with zero shade. I had to leave to go eat elsewhere.

I have been going to different chip trucks in Ottawa. This place has fabulous food. The prices are very reasonable. I promise you that if you stop by and get something really good you will not be disappointed.

We have been here twice now, the food is amazing and the owners are even better! Very friendly and helpful, they even deliver the food to where you are sitting! I have never been to a chip truck that does this. Keep going guys, I will be back for sure!!??

Missed the basics of good poutine but wanted to charge premium for it. Excessive 5 stars reviews seemingly without foundation. I've eaten poutine all over Ontario and Quebec. Many tokens in other chip trucks advertise their quality features to distinguish themselves ex. St Albert cheese curds, other specialty cheeses in parts of Quebec, cooking fries in peanut oil, crispy fries, good quality dogs, jumbo all beef dogs, Bun master type hot buns, fresh cut fries etc. This had gourmet written everywhere without the supporting tokens or posted details for what quality or size you were actually ordering. Containers are visible for reason elsewhere. This had the same rating as two another favourite trucks that are too far away be practical. This wasn't even close to equivalent. This was a new truck for me that was open when a lot of others were still closed. I bought a hot dog combo with poutine here. Despite a offering a mountain of "gourmet toppings" you could pay $3 extra for the basics provided at good quality competitors for free were not available even at an extra charge. It was not a good deal for what I got. Commendable attempts at better waste handling with biodegradable containers and a wood fork but without a compost in an extra paper bag and with aluminum foil added to keep the container from failing. Foil is not compost-able so that is mixed waste that goes straight to the garbage. Why bother doing this half way? There were many signs of attempting to turn a basic comfort food into something you can charge premium rates for but the basics fell flat for me. Cold food despite eating it my car on site, not Costco but almost flavourless gravy, fries that tasted like cardboard, no olives, a single bad choice for a diet drink etc. When you are hungry enough to eat fast food chain poutine, which is usually horrible compared to chip truck grade poutine, and you get half way through something you paid significantly more for and are considering tossing it and going through said drive thru... Hopefully this will get used to improve but next time will be elsewhere for me...

It was recommended to me by a family member. Honestly the best poutine I ever had!!!! Fries were cooked crispy, were very generous with the cheese curds, and the gravy was so tasty and perfectly balanced . I went there with my neice and we shared a medium poutine.. it was so good , we got another order and ate it all because it was that delish!! Everybody needs to check this place out.!!

Fantastic. We had a classic poutine with extra curds and a "Closing Time" poutine which was topped with Donair meat, onion and Donair sauce. Curds were plentiful, fries were cooks just right and the gravy was tasty but not super salty, all in good proportions. The gourmet toppings were really good and didn't detract from the poutine or overwhelm it. Bonus, the containers were biodegradable and came with wooden utensils so everything could be composted. Definitely be back!
Hired Big D's to cater a party and they were fantastic! They came well prepared and fed everyone quickly. Everyone LOVED the food! Will definitely be hiring them again next year.
