People with ANY dietary restrictions/allergies need to be very cautious when eating here- the server we had tonight confidently answered a question about the contents of a dish (as all ingredients were not disclosed on the menu). Someone in our group then had a reaction to the food. We’d hate for someone else to experience the same, or a more serious reaction.
In the end, both the server and the manager were not capable of handling the aftermath of the situation. Anyone with allergies: eat here with caution.. or better yet, dine somewhere more reputable!

Dietary restrictions: Do not rely on the advice or expertise of restaurant personnel when making food choices at this location. They’re not equipped to disclose accurate information about ingredients/suitability of dishes.

We use to eat here more often, but recently we have gone in and the whole dining area is closed down. Why do they try to cramp you in the bar area??? Places have really fallen short after Covid when it comes to service. They charge more money and the service is crap. It has now happened three times in a short period of time that they close the dining room which is frustrating because you drive all the way there for a sit down meal and they try to stick you at the bar!!! I know the best way to vote is where I choose to pay to eat and it will no longer be here!!! Sorry not sorry big rig!!

My 1st visit to the brewery for lunch on Sunday with my aunt and uncle. Everyone was pleased with their meals, from classic burgers to Buddha bowl, the server was excellent and for those who are interested in the brewing process the entire back wall is glass so that you can see the beer production. I gave 4/5 stars because it is a big pub, so you need to like that scene.

Food notes, the Buddha bowl comes “deconstructed” on a plate and the different ingredients have their own sauce or seasoning. Don’t get me wrong, it was yummy, but atypical and surprised me so letting you know. Also my Aunt liked that sweet potato mash was an available side, not one you see often.

With the right company, this is a great option to check out!

The best thing about our visit was Mike. Mike met us at the door, seated us and got us our drinks. Mike continued to look after us the whole time we were there. He went above and beyond, making our return visit a slam dunk! Thank you Mike, thank you Big Rig for Mike and his great service

Good selection of their own craft beers. The space is large and well laid out and has a good-sized patio. We had pizza, fish and chips, and mac and cheese. All were considered good, 8 out of 10. The service was slower than it should have been, considering how busy it was.

My steak was a little dry and my veggies were swimming in butter. The server was very good but seemed to have a lot of tables The table was a sticky when we sat down and overall the furnishings were worn. It just looked like they hadn't replaced anything in a long time, or at least had anything refinished since they opened.

This is really a 3.5 star rating with really nothing super good or bad that stands out.
We came here for lunch with a group. I looked at the menu and asked one of the group what people normally come here for ... apparently beer and the patio in the summer. Which is fair.
I had the smoked meat sandwich and a caesar salad for $24. I have no complaints about the food but I also have no strong recommendation given that what I ordered is essentially assembling pre-made ingredients. There were complaints at the table for overcooked chicken which makes me think that I ordered correctly.
Overall if you drink, which I don't, this place might be more for you. There were lots of TVs showing American Football, which is probably fun to watch with friends and beer and chicken wings.

A great restaurant, great service! Menu has something for everyone. Casual 'pub like' atmosphere and of course, good selection of their own beer. I will be back!

Always tasty beers! Especially he Canadian Amber. And highly recommend the fried pickles, or mozzarella sticks, or onion rings (large portions for each one) if you need a quick snack with any of their beers.

Very happy with the accommodating service we received today when we were in with a 9 person table in a bit of a rush. The whole service team chipped in to help get our group on the way quickly. Food was really good (fish tacos and French onion soup) but beware, some of the portions are outrageously huge. Like the poutine. Tried the Premium Pilsner beer and it was really solid. I like the made-in-house sodas too. Overall a great place for a meal with family and friends!
