In town for business, we all stopped here for food. The ordering process is horrible, slow, full of glitches and we won't ever be back. You don't deal with a person when ordering.

Food was ok

Pretty sure the burger patty came from Costco. Fries were basic Sysco frozen fries. American cheese. Service was decent considering it’s an airport restaurant, none of them are “good”. Servers are doing the best they can though, so nothing personal to them, just the environment. Same with atmosphere. My comment is more about the food. No delightful surprises there whatsoever except maybe the profit margins for the owner.

They didn't want me to sit on the bench of 4 top table because its for big groups, the other chairs looked extremely uncomfortable and small. Suggested there's other restaurants so I just left. Probably another case of racism in Ottawa. All good my money works the same elsewhere. Older gentleman with a mask on today.

There was maybe 10 others there, airport is dead. Made no sense, since it was a booth for 4 and they can push two tables together.

Women behind the bar charged me for a premium double vodka ceaser when it was a single, because I seen her make the drink but it seemed she wanted to just make more money off me because I was only having 1 drink. So the 8.50 ceaser ended up cost me $23. So if you sit at the bar just drink bottle beer so you don't get screwed .

Entered restaurant around 7:45pm, was ushered and I mean lady behind bar pointed to a table in corner for us to sit. Sat and watched the waitress and waiter decide who was going to serve us. The waiter finally came to serve us. Didn’t speak had a mask on ( which I don’t care) the pint was he didn’t speak and basically nodded the entire time. The service was extremely SLOW they are certainly not in a hurry to serve you at all. It sucked as they were the only restaurant opened at this time. Will definitely not be back

As someone who has worked in customer service for 10 years+, I have never used “I’m having a bad day” as an excuse to be rude to a customer. Even outside of a service setting, what is the reasoning behind this kind of behaviour. I did not appreciate the way I was talked to by my server-Shelley(or that’s at least what the receipt said)

There was a mix up with tables when we arrived (not our fault, the hostess moved us) and so I had two separate bills. I was under the impression it was already paid because it asked for my card information. I suppose I was mistaken, the waitress made sure to make a point of this loudly in a rather frustrating tone.
I understand we have bad days, but just go home. Do not take it out on unsuspecting victims. People who you do not know what they’re going through in their past day either.
Let’s just be nice to one another.
Anyways I ended up leaving without touching my drink. I was just made to feel quite uncomfortable after that.

You can’t complain about prices especially in the airport, but you can mention food quality and portions. I ordered the Montreal smoked meat sandwich $25 with upgraded poutine side $8, and bottled water $3.25. I thought prices were decent.

Sandwich had rye bread and the smoked meat wasn’t stacked with 2-3 layers but had good taste with yellow mustard. Would be nice if they offered a selection of mustard (like honey, spicy or Dijon) to make this sandwich better.
Poutine was fresh fries, medium cut, cheese curds (acceptable) and a bit too salty gravy (as it should be).

Service was great, she was really busy serving food and all the drinks at the bar as well. She didn’t stop at all, kept working the entire 35mims I sat there.

Avoid at all costs, so expensive for what you get. Portion sizes are small. I had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich when it came out it was a pathetic excuse of a sandwich with only 2 slices of meat inside. For 25$ you expect more for your money. Also had the French onion soup for 12$ was also not worth it. What a disgrace

Very poor quality food and deceptive online ordering. We were nailed with a 15% gratuity charge just for the “privilege “ of ordering and paying using the online service! Do not eat here!

Happy to be able to grab a good breakfast before our long flight. The food was tasty and we got good service. Thanks to the staff for their early morning start. Worth mentioning that our food was served hot which is a rare occurrence in most places.

I really enjoyed the pleasant and cheerful demeanor the server, Ahmed R, brought to my experience. Such an admirable and a steady quality in a busy and demanding environment.

$23 for 3 overcooked eggs (asked for over medium), 2 pieces of overcooked bacon, 1 breakfast sausage cut in half (lol) bread and potatoes.

I understand this is an airport and inflation and shrinkflation are a thing, but this should be embarrassing for whoever owns this place.

Won’t ever visit another location again, used to be a regular at the other Big Rig.
