Big Smoke has a location in the Rideau Centre food court; their products are quite a bit pricier than the other food joints, and the quality is a letdown for what you've paid for.The appearance of the storefront gives it more of a hipster vibe? And I suppose that's reflected on the wide variety of less common foods and quirky-sounding names.The staff were helpful. Because the burgers are made to order, I got my smokehouse pulled pork ($15.10) in a few minutes. I did not enjoy it for the price it was set at. If you were looking for a better burger experience, the adjacent Market has a lot more to offer.I'd recommend just going somewhere else.

This was the first place I stopped to eat at when I arrived in Ottawa, I got the Smokehouse pulled pork combo and it was absolutely fantastic. Really flavourful burger, and crisp but fluffy fries. The guy with big earrings that was taking my order seemed to hate working there and barely acknowledged me when I walked up. So much that I wasn't even sure that was the place to order. Everything else was great.

i did not have a good experience as an employee when I worked there. To be honest, I did a very good job and my English was good as an employee, but there were employees whose English was not good and they did not work as they should, but they had more shifts than me.The employees who worked there were very kind but I was not satisfied with the managers. The criteria of a good employee is that they can speak the language correctly, work properly, and be able to provide good customer service. To be honest, I had all three. I think the criteria of a good employee was something else for the managers there and finally, even though they have posters of the halal food there, but they were grilling the pork and halal meats on the same grill I warned them, but they made excuses.?

Food looks great, but tastes extremely bland. We had the bacon and pulled pork premium poutines. They somehow took all of the taste out while making them look nice. They only have one size drink, known as “regular”, but it’s equivalent to a small at other places. Very disappointed from a place that looked so promising. The brown bag it came in was exactly the same size as the large poutines, forcing us to rip the bag to get them out.

The burger combo meal wasn't worth $21.00. It came with a bland burger on a tasteless bun, with a small side of equally tasteless, and unsalted fries. The combo drink was in a tiny cup. Cost way too much for what it was.
