I am disappointed went to Biggs for late lunch as I was in the area and missed what I thought was great food because I have been before. I should have added some photos. I ordered eat in for my daughter and I she had poutine I ordered eggs Benedict. My eggs were supposed to be medium poached they were hard by my last bite or 2 saw a hair on my plate but still don’t say anything. I also ordered take out club sandwich platter which was supposed to have cheese and it didn’t and Slovakie plate supposed to be with potatoes but they added fries?? and said if I wanted the salad with it extra 599 I really don’t care about price but 3199 for rice some frozen vegetables and cold fries not cool.

We went for breakfast on a Saturday and as is to be expected it was very busy.Coffee was terrible but it’s rare to find a good cup of coffee at a restaurant like this. Food was decent but lukewarm when it arrived to our table.Service was okay - our waitress was pretty busy and she was friendly but nothing exceptional. For the price we paid for the meal, the food should have been hot. Wouldn’t stop me from going back but overall was a bit disappointing.

Comfortable family restaurant with all-day breakfast, though I chose the meat plate from their lunch menu and it was wonderful.Fast, friendly service at fair prices, recommended by a friend and I'm glad to know it now.

Bigg's Deli & Bar1099 St. Laurent. BlvdHere's the positive.1. I was greeted by the owner and was seated at a booth right away.Waited for my wife to meet me for brunch . I ordered a 12oz medium rear steak with 3 eggs and home fries + beans plus white toast. The NegativesThe waitress was the most lazy person I have ever had in my life. Why do you say that? Well, heres why.She never once came to ask if we wanted refills on my coffee or if we wanted something else to drink. When she brought our food, two things were missing.1. Our toast2. My wife's sausage were not cooked the way she had ordered them and returned them not once but twice. The waitress, I'm sorry the cook should have known this.I said to myself a waitress who takes an order should always look at her order before serving it to the customer and make sure all the food comes out pretty much at the same time not 20 minutes later. My wife sent back the sausage, and again, we got it back wrong, so my wife said ok keep it,''I don't want it anymore."The waitress finally took notice and brought them back to the kitchen to get it done the way my wife had asked 30 minutes prior.I literally had to ask another waitress for a second cup of coffee ☕️ because my waitress was busy in the corner talking to another waitress. My waitress had been at another persons table 3 times but always overlooked the table we were at.All in all, my meal cost $90.00 that's with $18 tip because they share tips. The others shouldn't be punished by someone else's mistakes.Other staff looked at my table but didn't offer any services. My family has owned 16 restaurants in the Cornwall Ontario area, and I have owned 3 myself, and I can say this. All staff should work as a team, not one against the other. They should all be trained by Rachel at City Limits Restaurant in Cornwall Ontario. That's what you actually call a professional waitress. Why did you ask well because her number one priority is great customer service to prove that the food is great as well as the service she gives you and the owners she hard works for it.I am very disappointed in the service I received today.
