Vegetable Sambusa (ሳንቡሳ)
Thin shells hand-wrapped and stuffed with a combination of lentils, onions, peppers, and herbs.
House Salad (ሰላጣ)
Crisp green lettuce topped with green pepper, tomato, and onion in an authentic house dressing.

Yemisir wot, fosolia, atakiltwot, shurowot, and house salad.
Shuro Wot (ሽሮ ወጥ)
Roasted and powdered chickpeas (shura) simmered in unique, hot, and spicy berbere sauce with vegetable oil.

Pureed split red lentils simmered in blue nile's own spicy and hot BBQ sauce.
Atakilt Wot (አታክልት ወጥ)
A delicious vegetable boiled chopped cabbage, sliced carrots, and potato chunks, simmered with onions, garlic, ginger, and vegetable oil.
Fosolia (ፎሶሊያ)
String beans lightly spiced with carrots and potatoes.
Yater Kik (ያተር ክክ)
Steamed peas with onions seasoned with garlic and ginger.

Tibesewot, alichawot, minchetabish, and gomenbesiga.
Tibbs (ጥብስ)
Succulent pieces of tender lean beef sauteed in butter and seasoned with onions, green pepper, tomato, and rosemary.
Tibese Wot (ቀይ ወጥ)
Hot and spicy beef stew very lean chopped beef simmered in a hot and thick BBQ sauce and purified herbed butter with exotic spices added.

Served with goman (kale) and homemade cheese (iybe).

Chopped lean beef cooked in mild sauce and purified herbed butter.

Ground and lean beef cooked in hot and spicy beef stew.
Gomen Besiga (ጎመን በስጋ)
Cooked Beef with collard green, herbed butter, garlic, ginger, onions, and green pepper.

Freshly minced, lean beef mixed with butter, mitmita, onion, and green peppers.

Ye Beg Tibs (የበግ ጥብስ)
Succulent pieces of fresh lamb sautéed in butter and seasoned with onions, green pepper, tomato, and rosemary.
Dulet (ዱለት)
Chopped red meat, tripe, and liver seasoned with herbed purified butter, spiced chili powder, (mitmita). Served raw mild or well done.

Poultry

Ye Doro wot, alicha wot, minchet wot, Yater Kik, yemisir wot, cabbage, and green lentils.
Ye Doro Wot (የዶሮ ወጥ)
Drumstick or thigh cooked in a hot and thick red pepper, onions, garlic, ginger, and purified butter sauce. Served with a hard-boiled egg and homemade cheese.

I loved the food. I got the lamb platter and my friend got the vegetable platter and both were very yummy. My only note would be to indicate what's not available on the menu rather than having customers choose and then find out it's not available, as was the case with the Sambusas and Smoothies listed in the menu.

Excellent Ethiopian food. Single person operation who was informative, friendly and fast. Generous portions of the various dishes, injeer bread at incredibly good prices.

Amongst other items, tried 3 beef dishes. All were excellent, each with their own unique flavours. Would go back repeatedly event if the only thing they offered was the Zilzil Tibs.

Kid-friendliness: Easy to find dishes that were not spiced to hot for children.
