Came here for a birthday dinner on the weekend and it was not enjoyable.
Restaurant used to be called Atari (still says this when they hand you your receipt and decor is the same). It appears that they have tried to re-brand (maybe because of the bad reviews?) I would encourage people to check the reviews for Atari on google as well as it appears that a lot of the concerns our group had are also mentioned on the Atari reviews.
Atmosphere: We were a group of about 15 and despite this the restaurant was not busy at all for a Saturday night. The restaurant is aesthetic and somewhat small which I guess resulted in three different tables (of two people each) being sat near us who all proceeded to spend their whole meal taking videos and selfies with ring lights and flash. Normally this wouldn’t bother me but it was really difficult to enjoy our meal and conversations with camera flashes and a bright ring light being turned on and off in the corner of your eye. If you don’t want to take pictures (or potentially be in the back of other peoples) I would look elsewhere to eat!
Food: All of our plates came out at the same time but it was cold and portions were small (some people in our group asked to go to McDonalds after). Food was bland and lacking flavour, the presentation was nice though. Also, when my friend was trying to book the reservation they made a whole fuss about ordering off a set menu, but when we arrived we were informed that there was in fact no set menu? Just seems like poor communication.
Cocktails: were priced about $17 a drink, I tried a sip of the BBL, margarita and watermelon gin spitz and they all tasted very similar, sweet and watered down. Overpriced for the quality. Also a person in our group got a Strongbrow canned cider which was $11 ( which is over double priced as it’s only $4 at LCBO)
Service: service was fine but not great. They didnt check- in often to ask if we wanted more drinks or food (maybe came 3 times in a 3 hour period). If the restaurant was busier it might make more sense but as I noted above, it was our party and three other tables of two. The tip was also automatically added to the bill without us knowing until we received it.

First time at Boro. Heard good things about them, so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. As soon as we walked in, even tho the restaurant was busy, we got greeted and seated to our table right away. Food was amazing!!! We ordered the breakfast tacos, the crispy French toast and the za’atar halloumi pizza. The pizza was our personal favourite, we’ve never had anything like it. Our server was very nice and she answered all of our questions which made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend giving Boro a visit if you are looking for something unique and different.

When with a small group, the staff was very attentive and friendly, knowledgeable about the menu The food was great, for me the brussel sprouts were a standout and the smash burger was amazing The pizza was good similar quality to other pizza places around

My boyfriend and I went this past Saturday to celebrate 2 years together. We walked in with no reservation. We were given a few choices where to sit and was told the kitchen was backed up. We didn't mind. We sat down within 5 minutes We had our water and have decided what to order. Our server who turned out to be the owner was a very kind and attentive man. Every staff member we talked to was very kind and helpful. They kept apologizing for the wait but we weren't bothered at all by a wait and found the service to be very fast. We got our wine, within 10 minutes our appetizer (we got the fatoush salad) quicky followed and as soon as we finished our appetizer our mains were on the table. We observed a few tables walking out after they got their waters but we brushed it off as people having no patience (which is very true). They had a reservation that night for 8 people and that table of 8 quickly grew to over 20+ people with no heads up for the restaurant (even when we were eating more people kept walking in for the reservation table). All in all we think the restaurant and staff handled it all very well. We had a really nice time. We will be back for sure. We highly recommend the fatoush salad and the two pasta dishes. We spent maybe a total of 1 hour here.

We went with a group of friends for dinner. We tried five different items on the menu, and all of them tasted really good. Drinks were also nice. However, the peach blosson drink, which tasted good, had a huge ice piece in the middle - not a lot of drink. The service was friendly. We had not got our drinks but our meals arrived. When we mentioned it (we didn't realize we were talking to the owner), he apologized and personally made sure our drinks were prioritized. I will definitely come again. They had a rooftop patio, and I can't wait to try it in the summer!

We went here to have a couple of shots with our friends and they were not only watered down but served in ikea candle holders? It was the worst 10$ shot I ever had in my 36 years. I won’t get started on the patio… I mean our chair was broken and the table was wobbly. No idea how this place is running. Good luck tho.
Decor of the place is nice however the service was mediocre. Servers weren’t that welcoming, a little rude, and rushed despite no other customers being there at the time we were there. The quality of the food and drinks did not match the price. Drinks felt watered down and the food was bland. I think it could be a nice place if they improve their service.
