Such a gem! Cannot pass by without popping for a little treat! Great selection of all.sorts of baked goods from breads to tarts to rolls. Definitely recommended, definitely worth visiting!

Authentic Fresh French Bakery, wish if they had other french goodies. They need absolutely to make additional baked pastries in their beautiful menu.

I recently visited this charming French bakery and was delighted by the quality of their pastries—especially the éclair, which was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The choux pastry was light and perfectly baked, with a rich, silky filling and a glossy chocolate glaze that struck just the right balance between sweet and indulgent.

However, I was surprised (and admittedly a bit disappointed) to find that they don’t offer croissants. For a French bakery, this felt like a notable omission. It would’ve been nice to enjoy a classic buttery croissant alongside my coffee.

That said, what they do offer is clearly made with care and expertise. If you’re an éclair enthusiast or simply looking for a well-crafted treat, this place is worth the visit. Just don’t come in expecting the full spectrum of French staples.

Is it too much to ask for FRESH baked goods of a bakery? Bought for Mother’s Day and everything was obviously a day old. What a waste of time and money, and how pathetic for the nation’s capital to have so very few decent places to eat.

I've been to Ottawa a few times, I figured that due to the proximity to Quebec, there should be some great bakeries, though I had yet to find them.

This came across my lap and I hoped that this would be the diamond in the rough.

Sadly, I was wrong.

Their online presence is very good, they talk a big game, but fall short.

It's a bright, clean bakery with an attached bistro that has an interesting menu. Though I wasn't there for that.

The bakery had none of the smells associated with a bakery when you walk in.

No scent of bread, yeast or butter.

I picked up a croissant, brioche and a cinnamon roll.

The croissant was dense not very buttery.

The brioche was the same, very bready and dry. Hard to eat to be honest.

The cinnamon roll looked great and very promising, but was just like the others.

The lady at the cash was a bit snippy with me (and some of the other customers) and just didn't want to be there.

This seems to be more of a bread place than a pastry place.

Not the quality I had hoped for.

I was left wanting.

Stopped by on a whim based on a friend’s recommendation. We ordered 3 almond and chocolate croissants, 1 chocolate croissant - all were rock hard and seemed stale. As you bit into the pastry, it would crumble into bits. I actually put the croissant back into the bag and jokingly hit my friend with it to see if it would cause some degree of harm, and it did… it was that hard. Nothing about these pastries were soft and buttery. Very disappointing, and based on other peoples review, they should re-evaluate these products given the negative feedback. One would expect more from a French bakery. We also tried 4 different tarts that were delicious, which was a nice surprise given the issues with the croissants.

I want to like this place, but every time I come in, I’m disappointed in the croissants. I assume they are baked the night before, as they taste a little stale. I’ve never had a warm croissant here, despite showing up first thing.

I came accross this little gem by mistake. I went to buy some croissants and found a Bistro inside
Owner very personable.
I had a decaf and a croissant
Croissant is just like in Paris , fluffy, layered ,buttery and flaky.
The bistro serves also brunch.
I will definitely try that next time.

Great pain au chocolates, I thought a little less sugar than many I’ve had which was a nice switch. The chocolate inside the pain au chocolate was very good. The espresso I think was illy. The French ladies running things provided prompt friendly service.
