Be very careful when paying. I was charged for an extra combo. When I noticed the extra charge, I immediately went back to dispute it. They informed me that I needed the receipt to get my money back. When I said I had the receipt, they started speaking in another language that I couldn't understand and refused to speak English. Their response was that they couldn’t do anything. Be cautious when buying from this place, as their practices seem questionable.

If you want to enjoy the food from this restaurant, I recommend going to the one in Rideau Mall. The food tastes much better, the servings are larger, and the overall quality is superior. Sometimes the food at St. Laurent tastes stale, and the prices are different too. The Rideau Mall location is cheaper, and you'll also receive better customer service.

I hadn't been here in so long due to not working in the area anymore. But I used to eat here often for lunch. Food was fantastic, portions were large and well worth the price, and service was exceptional! So, I was in the area, and craved the bourbon chicken. Placed my order with the server, noticed the serving containers had shrunk, lol. I get my order...now I didn't think I had to watch how much of the rice and chicken she put in, due to my previous experiences, which were always generous. But, I didn't think the $18 meal with a drink, that I paid for in a tiny container, was practically filled with rice, and 12 small pieces of bourbon chicken. Rice is a "side" not a "main" it's called "Bourbon St. Grill", not "Bourbon St. Rice House with a Side of Grill". I was Not impressed to say the least! Now, if it's new owners...PLEASE! talk to the previous owner. He made the food always delicious, the service was great, and the portions were always worth the money!
Hopefully things change.
Now, I do have to be in the area again, so I'm going to have another go at it, to see if it was a fluke. If so, I'll change this review.
Otherwise, disappointment stands, and recommend people to eat elsewhere.
Food didn’t have quality. They are not generous at all. They barely put meat. You ask for more they say get two items. I upgraded to two items but they took off some meat and added another kind of chicken. So basically same amount Of meat you just pay if you want another flavour. It was the most horrible experience in a restaurant. I ordered a combo with Spicy chicken, and when I tasted it it was disgusting because I came across a piece of uncooked chicken with another flavor that I didn't order. The worst thing is that they refused to exchange my dish. I find the staff to be rude and unprofessional. I was really disappointed cause the teller was rude to me and said that I did not order the spicy one but I always order the spicy one, always, they did not exchange it or refund me, I do not recommend it at all. It's really a shame that we find this kind of restaurant in Canada
