This is my 'go to' place for sourdough bread in Ottawa. The other breads and their focaccia are very good as well. I have to admit though that not all of their sweets align with my tastes so I tend to stick to their breads.
I love having Bread By Us in the neighbourhood. It's a treasure. Good bread, amazing pastries, especially the danish and scones. And it makes me happy to know that they pay their friendly servers a living wage and give back to the community.
Updating because this review was four years old. Still a fantastic bakery all around and the best bread in the city. Kamut Sourdough and Zatar Cheese sticks are my personal favourites.
