Bridgehead used to have great coffee shops with excellent products. Sadly now what was once the pride of Ottawa has been sold off to the corporate coffee giant Second cup... Marking the end of a glorious era. Funny how Tracy (ex millionaire owner of it all) decided to keep her job at the helm after selling off, only to watch corporate Canada water down every soulful aspect of what was the wholesome essence of Bridgehead.

This coffee shop needs a face lift. Looking old and dingy. Outside furniture in desperate need of replacing. If you order a wrap, which are delish, ask to heat only half the time. They heat to a molten lava temp making it impossible to eat unless you want to burn your face off and have to peel all the paper off of it prior to bting into. When I mentioned it as I was leaving I did not get a satisfactory response, seemed like they know and don't really care. ?

I live in the neighbourhood and have been going to this location for a few years now. Not sure what happened to this store but it’s gotten terrible. Today was so hot so I tried to come in for a lemonade but the doors were locked. I think there was an employee outside and they told me to check google next time when I asked about the hours, since it even says on their door that they’re open until 5. But it says 5 here too. I don’t know. I feel really let down since they used to really be about serving the neighbourhood, but now it feels like they couldn’t care less.

There small cold latte is $5.66 and it was the size of my pinky. I think its april maybe its a joke but who knows i ll come back in may. Staff was nice.
