The staff is just incredible. They are helpful, kind and generous. Drinks and food are delicious, with great pasty options (try the Cherry Lemon loaf) and all-star café drinks. But the staff is what makes this location and place worth the visit. Awesome patio as well.

The coffee is horrible! The foam on the coffee tastes like chemicals and the flavour of the coffee was very unpleasant. 4 coffees for $20… not worth it at all.

I had a dark roast coffee and a muffin. The coffee was ok, and I felt like the muffin was a day old at 7am.
The coffee and pastries are always amazing.It’s a comfortable place to read, work, and relax, but the staff can be inattentive and distracted with each other.3 employees behind the bar who are openly criticizing a manager (who isn’t present), loud enough for everyone seated to hear, all while an elderly woman in line is waiting for her coffee.I realize that’s probably an isolated situation, but people were clearly made a little uncomfortable.

Genuinely really concerned, I tried calling to figure this out but no one would answer and the voice mail box is full. I ordered a pumpkin pie crush and a banana chocolate chip muffin earlier today. Normally the food and drinks are great but this muffin had a chunk of something in it that with no exaggeration tasted like cat litter, it was salty, crunchy, and ammonia like. I had to spit it out immediately because it made me sick. On the less concerning side the pumpkin pie crush had so much of the syrup in it I couldn’t even drink it because it tasted like drinking a bath and body works candle. I did notice entirely new staff today so I don’t know if that has something to do with it but the muffin obviously is shipped in so something really wrong must have happened where it was ordered from.
