We stopped in for a pint of Guinness and were glad we did. The place has a relaxed, welcoming feel, with friendly service and a room that just feels right the moment you walk in. It is an easy spot to settle in, enjoy your drink, and soak up the mood. We will be back again soon.
Brigid's Well is an a fun, interesting place. Housed in the basement of an old stone church in Ottawa's downtown South Byward, it is fashioned in the traditions of an Irish Pub. Irish whisky and delicious stout populate their menu, almost to the exclusions of other varieties, this pub absolutely celebrates the tradition and cultural vibe of The Republic. Prices are excellent - including a tasty $7 in-house pint of lager.
