Service was OK, attentive and nice, but couldn't tell me what the restaurant best dinner was, couldn't recommenda beer. This advertise as a British Pub, there is very little British about this pub, other that Fish & Chips on the menu. Atmosphere is Watering Hole. I had the Bacon Cheese Burger, it was a standard burger, it was good. Onion Rings were standard cook from frozen variety. Cheese Curds as well, cook from frozen. Kudos to the Watering Hole for serving Local Brew. Standard Pub fare, standard Pub, with some Local Brew options.

Waitress seemed uninterested in serving us. When we asked about local beers she said she wasn't a beer drinker and didn't know. I ordered the dry ribs and they were still frozen on the inside. Sent them back. Too bad because it seemed like a nice looking place.

Kate was quick and efficient with our beverages and food. She checked to be sure all was ok. The food was good but way too much. I had the chicken caesar wrap, and while good, I couldn't taste much of the caesar. My husband had the chicken quesadilla with side salad and the salad was a meal in itself! He enjoyed his lunch. He's not much on craft beer but did like the Brixton Lager.

My husband and I were wandering Ottawa and came upon Brixton's. So glad we stopped in for lunch! A cute little pub with a patio outside. Hubby had a chicken quesadilla with fries, and I had a chicken Caesar wrap with fries. Better fries, I have yet to find! Super crispy and piping hot! Both of our meals were delicious and very filling! If we ever travel to Ottawa again, we will definitely stop in again.

Wings were great! Very crispy and meaty. Really thought there was a buy one get one free special on Michelobs though. Turns out there wasn’t.

My wife described the pub in question as an oasis of calm. Truly, there is no higher praise from such a woman and I second that emotion.
Great place, great service and the food portions are great.

This was my first time in Ottawa for Canada Day. I ate on the evening of June 30th. I went in finding it not busy with people but the waitress greeted me and was quick for taking care of me.
She and the cook had a little playful battle with each other and it stuck in my mind how great it is for people to have fun at work. I was the guy who told her to throw the extra toonie tip at the cook to help her win the battle ha ha.
The food was greatly priced I went for the wings and for 50 cents more I did a poutine side. I plan to come to Ottawa next Canada Day with the tour group I used and hope to visit again. Thank you once again for making my service memorable.
